Lynnese worried her lower lip as she folded the new baby clothes, putting them in little baskets until she could find a drawer to put them in. That was what she planned to do today....or later. Rearrange her living space so she could make room for all this baby stuff until she found a small place of her own. Or maybe a place to share with.... Lynnese blushed and buried her face in one of the onesies. Even when he wasn't around Louis-Cesare could still make her blush. And yet....He had told her he'd never leave. That he'd always be around. Was it silly of her to think that they'd have that house with the white picket fences? She was still confused about her own feelings for him, even if he had made his perfectly clear. Could she really live with a guy she had no idea if she loved truly or if these feelings were mere infatuation because he was her first? Deciding some air would do her good, Lynnese set the remaining clothing aside and grabbed her purse, exiting her parents' house.

Louis-Cesar was wondering around town he wondered how Lynn was doing. He hadn't seen her for a bit trying to give her some space so she could think and figure out how she felt. He saw a flower shop and bought a bouquet of roses and lilies. He wanted to see her. He also got her some chocolates and a cute little stuffed animal. He knew girls liked that kind of stuff and he'd missed her. He wanted to show her how much he had missed her. He whistled happily as he headed towards where she lived. He was excited to get to see her. It had been too long.
He caught sight of her pretty flame colored hair and quickened his pace. He raced over to her and grinned. She looked so pretty and he held out the presents to her. "Hey Lynn. I missed you. How have you been sweetheart?" She looked gorgeous as always and he just wanted to pull her into his arms shower her with affection and love.

Lynnese stopped quickly in her tracks as the guy surrounding her thoughts appeared in front of her. For all she knew, they could have just made him magically appear with how quick he was there. Or perhaps she was so wrapped up in them that she didn't realize anyone else was around that she knew. "O-Oh! Louis! Hi." Her blush grew as she saw everything he was holding. Flowers? Chocolates? Stuffed animal? Taking the items, she took a deep breath of the flowers, cuddling the stuffed animal. So soft....the child might like it. Eyes widening, she quickly looked down. Oh dear. She needed to get her mind off the child. Louis was such a sweet man, doting already in his courtship of her. Lynnese didn't want to ruin anything or make him dote on her more by making him worry or think he had to just because she was carrying his kid. "Thank you, but you didn't have to." She shifted from foot to foot awkwardly. "I've been a little under the weather, but otherwise I've been fine. How about yourself?"

Louis-Cesar smiled at Lynn but frowned slightly when she just stopped. Had he done something to upset her? Had he messed up? He smiled at her more. No way he could know if he had. If he had she would probably tell him. He hoped. "Hello there Lynn." He grinned at her just wanting to hold her close and shower her with affection but he was worried about doing that. He knew she freaked out when he did that. So he was trying so hard not to pull her close. He didn't want her to start trying to run away again.
He beamed as he watched her with the presents. He was pleased she liked them. He had been worried she wouldn't like them but it seemed she did. He was thrilled. He'd worked on to think of things she would like. He shrugged and shook his head. "I know I didn't have to do it sweetheart. I wanted to do it. You don't get it. I really like you and I want to make you happy. I'm trying to not over whelm you but I also want to court you. I want to convince you I'm not just a player or a flirt. I'M interested in only you." He frowned then very worried. "You weren't well? Why didn't you tell me? What was it? Are you all better now? Can I do anything to help?" He wasn't sure what was wrong but he was very worried. "I've been alright just well not very happy but not it's all better."

Blushing a deeper red, Lynnese hid her face in the stuffed animal. There was that word again. Court. As if he were some gentleman and she some lady. Chewing her lip, she fought the urge to put a hand on her stomach. But she was no lady. No lady would have done what she had done. No lady would be in her position. "I...appreciate what you're doing. How courteous you are. That does give you points." It also made her feel bad, how much of a hard time she was giving him. She frowned. No...wait. Was that actually her or the hormones talking? Feeling bad for giving a guy like Louise a hard time over wanting to make sure he was serious about her? She peeked up at Louise over the stuffed animal. "Just some nausea. It comes and goes. Nothing to worry about. But, I am confused. Why would I tell you? You weren't around. It's nothing that needed to make a fuss about. I'm taking care of myself." Lynnese tilted her head. "You weren't happy? Why?"

Louis-Cesar smiled. She was the most adorable woman in the world when she blushed. He liked seeing her blush an he liked knowing he made her blush. He grinned as she tried to hide her adorableness in the stuffed animal. How cute she was. He really liked that about her. He frowned and crinkled his nose at her words. "I'm not trying to rack up points. It's not some game to me. I am serious." He sighed. How to get her to see that? He didn't know what was going on with her but something was. She wasn't acting like her usual self. Something seemed off and different with her today but he wasn't sure what.
He watched her peak up over the suffed animal. He frowned even more. "Nausea? Do you want me to take you to a doctor? That is something to worry about if it is coming and going. That's not normal. Come on. I'm going to take you to the doctors." He frowned even more. "I'm sorry I wasn't around. I should have come looking for you sooner. I know that. I messed up and I'm sorry. I just thought you might like a little space to think without me around." He frowned even more. He knew she could take care of herself but he wanted to take care of her. He wished she would rely on him and let him help. He shrugged. "You wouldn't believe me if I told you."

"Racking up points is just a figure of speech. They weren't really going to get you anything physical." But hearing him say yet again he was serious...Lynnese was sure he was going to change his tune one day. Yet he hadn't. Maybe it was as Louis said. Maybe...Lynnese chewed on her lip. She'll see. "I appreciate it. I actually really...I didn't get much thinking done. I was preoccupied with other things. But, if you want," Lynnese gave a shy smile. "We could go do something, now that you're here." And there it was. Just like she thought. He was slightly overreacting to just hearing about the nausea. "It's not necessary. I'll be fine." If they went to the doctor he'd...he'd find out. Maybe it was a good thing? Maybe, this will allow her to get answers. See how serious he really was. "But if you insist..."

Louis-Cesar sighed softly. He didn't know how wo make her see that he wasn't trying to just get her in bed with him or something like that. He really cared about her and wanted her to be his. But of she didn't want that he wouldn't force a relationship. But he did want that with her so badly. He had no idea how to show her that. He knew she thought he was a player but he wasn't. And he wasn't playing her. But how to show her that? He frowned slightly. "I'm not trying to get anything from you that you don't want to give." He didn't know how to make her see that. "I'm not playing with you and I am serious." He just wished she would believe him. He frowned more when she chewed her lip. He smiles back softly at her. "I would love to go do something with you. Anything you like." He was worried about what she had been preoccupied with but wouldn't pry.
He narrowed his eyes slightly at those words. "But if you were throwing up that is serious and you should see a doctor. Nausea can be for many reasons. I don't want you being sick and not being able to help you." He nodded his head. "Yes I do insist on taking you to a doctor."

Lynnese studied Louis. It was true. The other night he hadn't forced her to...she blushed a bright red as she remembered their night of passion. And some players would have just left after that. It meant a lot to her, really it did, that he stayed even after going all the way. That he wanted to get her gifts. But the real test would be later. When he found out about...Then she'd see if he was just interested in having someone to fool around with or wanted what she wanted. The happily ever after kind of life. She shook her head. "Not anything I like. Anything we'd like. It wouldn't be fair to you to do just what I wanted." The female looked around, getting her bearings in relation to where her doctor was. "It can be, but I was told that this was normal and would pass. But since you won't believe me, I'll have my doctor explain it to you." With that, she headed down the street to the doctor just for people like her, and not just because she was pregnant.

Louis-Cesar looked back at Lynn. He wondered what she was looking for. He didn't try to hide anything just left his eyes on her. His eyes sparkled as he saw her blush. "You ok? What's got your cheeks so red?" He hoped she was thinking of that night fondly. It would be a nice thing if she did. She was so cute and he really liked her. But how to make her see how much he cared for her? It seemed that only time would tell if she would belive him.
His brows arched up at her words. "Alright sweetheart. What we want. Though I care more for what you want than my own wants." He frowned slightly. Why would nausea be normal? Was her doctor an idiot or was she hiding something from him? His blood ran cold at that last thought. Would she hide things from him? He prayed she wasnt. He nodded his head confused. "Alright.…?" He walked next to her resting his hand lightly on her back.

Lynnese nodded. “I’m fine.” A lady would never admit that she was thinking carnal thoughts. Or at least, carnal thoughts that weren’t because she was a vampire. “I appreciate the consideration, but what I want is for both of us to have a good time.” Leaving it at that, since she had no idea if he would be interested in a date after he learned the truth, she strode purposefully into the clinic her doctor was in. Not a large place, but large enough to have specialized doctors. While hers didn’t focus on just pregnancies, she did focus on vampires. Which is why Lynnese headed to the basement. The nurse at the desk looked up at the entrance. “Lynnese. Hello.” She consulted her computer and frowned. “Your next appointment isn’t for another couple of weeks. Is everything alright? Any complications?”

discoqueen Louis-Cesar watched her. "Alright so long as you are fine." He was really worried about her. Why did she need a doctor? What was wrong? He smirked and nodded. "Alright I'll make sure we always have lots of fun. Even more than we did that night. Don't worry about it." He winked and walked next to her. He looked forward to learning everyhting she licked and all that. He followed her into a clinic looking around. He was confused as to why they were going down into a basement. Why was her doctor in the basement? He made sure to keep pace with her. It was all starting to make him really nervous. What was all this about? His face drained of all color when the nurse mentioned complications. "Complications!? Complications with what? Why should there be complications?" And what was there complications to have? What was wrong that she could be having complications with? His thoughts, heart, and mind were racing. He was freaking out but trying to keep it from showing. He was so scared for her and took her hand.

Lynnese was saved the trouble of blushing and smacking Louis's arm for the reference to That Night as she was taking to calling it by his reaction to the nurse's choice of words. She exchanged a look with the nurse. "Is he...?" Lynnese nodded. "Does he...?" Lynnese shook her head. "We're here because he insisted I see a doctor about my nausea. And I figured Dr. Lewis could explain better if he..." "Say no more. You'd be surprised how often we have this sort of thing happen." The nurses's eyes flicked between Lynnese and Louis. "Especially in your situation. She's got some time until her next appointment so if you'll follow me? I'll put you two in a room so you can have some privacy to talk. I'll let her know you're here so we can get everything taken care of." Getting up, the nurse led the way to an examining room.

Louis-Cesar stared from secretary to Lynn. He was not enjoying this secrecy. What in the world was going on? What were these ladies not telling him? What was there to become complicated? Why was that a concern of the secretary's? He frowned as the nurse and Lynn talked without talking. It made him even more nervous and worried. He crossed his arms not liking that they weren't telling him what was going on. He walked into the exam room and stared at Lynn. "Explain."

Lynnese stalled as she put the bear down on the table with the flowers and chocolate, setting them all up so nothing fell or spilled. He was mad. She knew it would happen. She hoped at least the doctor would be here before he got to that point but....Lynnese waited until the nurse left and closed the door. "I'm pregnant....and it's yours."
