Hi Venya! Glad to see you posting so soon after joining :3You're certainly off to a good start and the pose was good with lots of movement in it so it's good to see you thinking creatively rather than going with something more static and standard. There are a few things I think you can look into to improve your work - namely understanding the body and also, as you said in your introduction post, working on hands.
Since you work traditionally it can be a bit harder for what I'm going to say next but it would certainly help to establish the body first before going in and drawing the details of clothes etc. I know lots of people just want to get the idea out on paper as fast as possible but with art there is a certain amount of planning you need to do to get from the idea in your head to a good final image.
This is a very similar way to how I draw - first with a stick figure that is your skeleton, then going to flesh it out then adding the details of clothes over the top.
Proportions and understanding the body is also very important. Rather than going into too much details myself, I highly recommend checking the
Figure as a Whole over in Resources and looking at the different body construction techniques people have. Sometimes, the best way to learn or find your own way of drawing is to look at lots of different ways and then you can take the bits that make the most sense and incorporate them into your workflow.
Hands are tricky but the cool thing is, we have some attached to ourselves that we can use as a reference whenever we need! In the case of your avi art, rather than just adding them in as an after thought I think it's definitely something you need to consider while you're still at the planning stage of your drawing. Think about the kind of attitude you want the character to have. Try adopting that same pose and see what your hands and arms are doing. There's also that saying, people talk with their hands. Think about what the hands would be 'saying' whether they are clenched into fists to possibly indicate the character has a strong personality or maybe the fingers are spread out and wide - more 'open'.
