What's your favorite medium: fingering weight yarn, cotton thread, worsted weight, bulky, etc... ?
Also, what is your favorite medium made of: wool, cotton, acrylic, silk, bamboo, etc...?

Actually, the smaller the better. I like crochet cotton thread. I'm going to try to dye some tonight actually. ^_^ Not into dollies though - I'm starting to make amigurumi out of it. It's intriguing. *giggles craftily to self*
One of these days, I'd like to experiment with crochet thread in bamboo or something like that - see how different it feels and works up.
I like acrylic worsted or chunky for amigurumi too - no shrinkage to worry about.

I love worsted weight acrylic. It's just so versatile.
Bamboo is so soft. It drapes really well and it's perfect for clothing and shawls.
I Love This Yarn is my fave to work with out of all the brands, although Red Heart is my "go to" yarn for crafts, bags, amigurumi, etc.

Work with mainly worsted acrylic. Some projects one needs to use cotton. Don't care for the way it tends to untwist. (Peaches & Cream) Just recently tried the brand I Love This Yarn. It's name fits! 1. I Love This Yarn (Hobby Lobby just recently came into my area.) 2. Caron (one pound) 3. Red Heart (Tends to have a rougher texture than others. However, it has a wider variety of colors available.)
Sometime would like to try bamboo, alpaca, mohair, etc.
