I noticed a distinct lack of resources for MTF peoples on the Resources subforum, and was slightly disappointed by this. Does anyone have any sites that they could recommend, any tips on presenting effectively, or information on HRT and other things?

I'm a transgirl. I could be a resource I guess.
I have no recommendations for sites because I don't actually spend that much time on the internet, and it's hard for me to give out tips on presentation, because it's really easy for that to sound like one woman telling another how to be a woman. My form of femininity is certainly different from a lot of women's. I don't wear makeup and I'm a bit of a tomboy (still pretty femme though). It works for me, but maybe not for you.
Info on HRT is pretty varied but if you want, you can ask away. Also if you just want to message back and forth that's cool too.

ZephyAlurus Okay then have you started on your voice? if so then what are you doing for that? Yep. I'm pretty late into transition now. I started with singing originally, when I was about 15. Just found whatever I liked with female vocalists and whenever I was alone I practised. I also started transitioning when I was 16, going to school in a small industry town, so I adapted quickly because of a strong outside incentive. What I thought was: being convincing = me being safe.

Hey, I was just looking at Bunny Bennet's channel on youtube, and they have videos on MtF transition. I haven't personally watched any of the newer videos yet, but Bunny's a good person. I'm sure they'll have lots of helpful hints. 3nodding EDIT: I've since watched the videos, and whereas there are no tips per se, there are some interesting things about the pills they need to take and how that affects them.

Not really a resource, but a friend on Facebook posted this link to a radio play on Radio 4 called " Just a Girl" about a MtF girl coping with life, parents, and waiting to get hormone blockers. It's really good.
