will there ever be an update for the avatars themselves where you can change the size of the body to how you want it ? Probably not as this will then require extensive changes to how existing items display.

(Just in the current event this has been a hindrance since I cannot wear the advocate shoes to get the same stat boost other users get to have) Hi there, unfortunately our shoe library is far too vast to be making this type of huge change and have the shoes equippable on Imp skins, which would glitch considerably with the imp feet. However, for the event, you can temporarily change to a human skin to use the Advocate 2k14 shoes. Sorry for the inconvenience!

I really dislike seeing gory/explicit avatars and have nothing to do about it other than ignore the user. I don't like ignoring people, especially if it's a friend, and I'd really like if we could just block the avatar. That way people can wear whatever they want, but people who don't want to see it don't have to. Not a bad idea! We'll keep this in mind for future updates. Narumi Misuhara Kiarra-Chan Misc.
Why are avatars stationary in PMs?
The animated items don't work, same in profile comments. Sounds like they just didn't get updated when the feature was released. :/

December 8th, 2014: bluealaris Waverlily Hime FeaturesWith the addition of animal bases, you've allowed us to easily go from a human base to several different animal bases with just a click of the mouse. My question is, would it be possible to change your human base from male to female (and vice versa) using the same means? It would be more convenient than buying a gender bender potion, a skin potion and taking a visit to salon durem each time you wanted to change your base. This is a good idea- the user experience would be much simpler. Its something we can definitely consider, for skin tone and for gender or other bases, such as the Angel Imp or Vampire. It would require a pretty big store clean up and UI update, so it would take time to implement, but I'm very intrigued by the suggestion!

Some of us enjoy putting animals ears on our avatars and don't want "human" ears to show, so this limits us to wigs and hairstyles that hide the base avatar ears. I saw this thread about it in Site Feedback, and it seemed like a good idea to me. I don't know much about how layering works, so this might be entirely out of the question, but I thought I'd ask just in case it might be. That's a good idea and something we can do some looking into. I know that for animals it's much easier due to ears being on a separate layer from the head while human ears I think are painted on to the head. I will ask our art team! Narumi Misuhara Sheepity Features:Last week my friend asked about being able to choose between having a male or female base on the page you use to dress up your avatar (like, being able to choose between a human or animal base). Just wondering where that suggestion stands. How likely would it be to have this feature implemented in the future? Might still be a little bit, in investigating we ran into some issues due to a lot of specially coded cases for the shops. So while some listed everything correctly, others ...not so much.

January 5th, 2015: Finni Seiji-ojisan ItemsA while back, someone asked about removing the ears on the human base like the [Animal] Hear No Evil, for people who like to use animal ears. It was being put under consideration. Any update on this? The human ears are not separated on a different layer like animal ears, so the removal of human ears would often result in a large hole in most Gaian's heads where the ears once were. Therefore, unfortunately a human version of [Animal] Hear No Evil would not be possible. You might find better luck using a wig or hairstyle that hides human ears for avis that use animal ears! Please do not remove the ears of the attached bunny, who is enjoying a delicious banana. emotion_kirakira

Maybe allowing custom tabs on the Inventory page that translate over to the avatar editor? It would make it so much easier to create new outfits (and calm my OCD a bit) This is something we would like to do in future updates. Backgrounds are something really fun to play with for a few of us, but for others it's just gets in the way when they go in the flash space like towns. March 30th, 2015: milkbun Soul of Kyr Items, Bug(?)Everytime I sit down and I am wearing a background, it shrinks. Is it supposed to do that and if not, can it be fixed?? Because it is annoying and looks bad. I don't remember it doing that to begin with, when backgrounds first started coming out, but now it does. It's supposed to do that. I'm not sure when it started but it's working as intended.

Usually, I can just click on the item in the equipped box and select a different pose. However, if I have the default pose equipped and click on it in the equipped box, rather than opening up the other poses, the item will just unequip. Is it possible to fix it so it will open the other poses if I click the default pose as well? For the time being I can't say we'd looking at changing this behavior as that is the intended behavior of the box. pepper-tea Shrimp_Man Misc/SkinsI was wondering if any artist could tell me the limitations of the Grombie skin? Like, if I use a gender change potion, will I have to use another Grombie potion to become a grombie again? Or can I just use the potion in Skin Tyte to change back or is that just for original 2k5 Grombies? Sorry, had to actually test these out... This may not be how all potions work (how these things work isn't actually visible to the artists.) A gender potion definitely removes the effects of a Grombie 2k13 Potion Stage 5 and a Zombie 2k8 Potion. It just gave me a random human skin tone. Converting genders again did not bring the lost potion effect back. The 2k8 Potion only works for 2k8 zombies and you cannot use it to become a grombie again. Hope that answers all of your questions!

Database Error Failed to pull user data D: I'm sorry to hear that did not fix your issue last time. I'll take a closer look in the morning to see what exactly is happening with your data. I did give 'em the link to fix it — http://www.gaiaonline.com/avibuilder/ghost?ghost=0The problem is that they enter an invalid ID, like 123$, so the db query kinda ya'know, breaks and whatever you're doing on the backend, it isn't handling it. You should have form validation check to make sure it's only a number that is being submitted. There is form validation, in this particular case that is not what is going on. I'll have to take a closer look to pinpoint it. Yay! Do you remember what id you put in the ghost box? Seems like whatever you entered didn't get caught by the existing checks, will help to know what exactly was put in so we can see why.
