☂☂ What's Going On So Far (Will be updated as we go along) ☂☂ It's a freezing Monday afternoon in Durem, temperatures are below zero, which is only fitting since it's the day of the trial. Currently Maci is on the stand, she was called up there by none other than Adam's father, Edward Brozen of the Law firm Mastro Olivier Brozen, who is representing one of Maci's tormentors. Sitting on her father's side of the room is Katherina, Adam's twin sister, who arrived just in time to see her father's ruthless plan unfold. As this trial progresses onward, it's becoming more intense. How will Maci handle this major set back in the case? How will the house of Brozen be seen once this case is over?
☂☂ Who's waiting for who to post, and what their current location is ☂☂ - Adam is currently in class. - Maci is at the Durem Courthouse, being questioned by Edward Brozen, Adam's father, on the stand.
It was a little after Two in the afternoon, Adam, a lean built 6'3" Dark Elf, was doing his usual laps around the school. His music blaring in his ear buds, he was focused and in the zone. Now if only he could put this focus towards his studies. As of late, his depression was really affecting him; His father hasn't called him and his sister since he cut them off from the family money. Adam knew it was his fault, and there's not a day where he doesn't remind himself. Right now, though, the only thing on his mind was the song he was listening to. The lyrics really speaking to him, and how each time a foot hit the ground it always seemed to be right on time with the beat. Thinking about this, he smiled and kept on time with the song. This made him happy it was on repeat. His surroundings were busy; On occasion he'd have to run around a person in his way. This was the downside of running around campus- all of these annoying people not understanding that he had a routine to complete. This was preparation for a game coming up, and he needed to be in the best shape possible. Adam, despite all of what he's going through, managed to land himself a spot on the Varsity soccer team as a Striker. A position with a lot of pressure attached to it, but Adam was used to handling pressure so it was no problem. The only thing he hated about it was that if he didn't keep his grades up, he'd lose his position until he could get them up. Not just that, but Theatre and Journalism demanded his attention as well. So there was a lot on his plate, but he enjoyed them all so much. As Adam ran, none of this was even bothering him. He was focused and determined to finish this run no matter who was in literally his way.
For being 2pm it was still nice and sunny out on this fall day. Maci smiles as she takes her things inside the apartment and to her room. This would be her first year here since she had to work her butt off to get money for school. "Maci I'm heading to class so you just chill here until I get back,"said Bria. Maci nodded her, after all she would now be living with her best friend. She had only one bag left to get from the car, so Maci walks back out. The fall scenery was beautiful and she was excited to see the place when the leaves change colors. Maci leaned up against the car as watched as students walked by. She was happy to be here and take a step towards her future. After all Maci had many bumps in the road. From being bullied to losing contact with her best friend Adam. A lot has changed specially for Maci, she was no longer that quiet kid with glasses that everyone picked on. She now wears no glasses, has a rocking body and her style has changed. After living in Durem for years the punk look made it's way into her closet. Though Maci pulls it off tastefully and very trendy. After all she is living with a soon to be fashion designer.

Adam could feel the sweat dripping down his face, but the laps were almost done. Adam ran around a pedestrian with their nose stuck in a book, and decided to run a little faster just to push himself a little bit. . and to get past all of the other annoying pedestrians in his way. Adam was about to pass the parking lot when he heard his music stop and his mobile vibrate. Adam sighed and decided to run off to the side of the path, to not only take a breather for a second, but to answer the call from his sister. Adam took a big drink of his water and answered his mobile, "Yeah?" "Where are you?" "I'm near the parking lot- I'm running, Kat. Can this wait?" "Oh. ********. Well, this ******** everything up. I was hoping you were just out, because we're out of milk. And eggs. We need eggs." Adam sighed. This was NOT the right time to bother him for 'basic essentials', he replied to his twin, "Alright, on my dresser next to my pen set and notebooks is my wallet. You can borrow some cash to get your milk and eggs." The two debated for a few minutes on who should really head to the store, but after Adam successfully argued his point of view, Katherina- his sister- finally said she'd go and get the milk and eggs. After he told her not to take more than she was supposed to take, she let out a 'Yeah, yeah, yeah' and they hung up. Adam let out another sigh, and took this time to recover from the run. He took another drink of water, and pulled out his GPhone to find a different song.

Maci took the last bag inside and to her room. She pulls out her then tosses it on the bed. Maci looked through her bags and pulls out some clothes. She puts on dark wash jeans, an off the shoulder lace and cutout shirt and black boots. Maci brushes her hair out the puts her silver hoops in. She grabs her phones and purse then heads out. Maci was nice and picked up a shift at the clothing store. After all working at Durem Depot, they were always busy. Maci picked up as many extra shifts she could handle. She quickly texts Bria to let her know that she was heading to work.
Katherinawas at the 24-7 convenience store just down the street from the University. The elevator music playing inside was boring, and monotonous. Instead of getting the milk and eggs straightaway like she was supposed to, she went to look at the cheap booze. Looking at it made her remember the day that her father cut them off, her and Adam- she remembers that day so vividly because she of the expensive wine she guzzled down once he left their loft. She misses the 'good life'. And the more she looked at the cheap alcohol, the more she missed it. "" Katherina said to herself, and left to go get the milk and eggs. She walked towards the refrigerated food / beverage section where the first thing she saw was the milk, then she found the eggs. After grabbing both of them she turned a bit and saw the fountain drinks. . . Impulse-buying was out of the question for her and her twin brother. . But an Extra Extra large blue-raspberry was calling her name now. Katherina left the convenience store after having bought all of her necessities and headed home. As she walked, she was contemplating heading over to Durem Depot. She heard recently from a friend that they got some new sweaters, and she was eager to have a look at them. Adam got paid recently, so she intended to use some of his cash, as well as money she saved up, to buy a few things.
Maci arrives and heads inside waving at Moria. She heads into the back to place her purse in the office then heads back out. Maci picks up a stack of papers and walked over to an empty spot in the store. They had just got in some new pieces. The sweaters were already done and now it was time to do the jeans and tops. Maci opens a box and check an item off on the first paper. She then begins filling the spot on the shelf. Soon Moria joins her since they had a lot that need to be put out.

Maci picks up a stack of papers and walked over to an empty spot in the store. They had just got in some new pieces. The sweaters were already done and now it was time to do the jeans and tops. Maci opens a box and check an item off on the first paper. She then begins filling the spot on the shelf. Soon Moria joins her since they had a lot that need to be put out.
Katherinamade it to Durem Depot, but it wasn't easy to get there. Along the way she had to deal with traffic, which was common for this time of day, but apparently a waterline broke and redirecting traffic to a quick detour was so difficult for them to do. But nonetheless, Katherina made it safely to Durem Depot. After parking the car, Katherina locked it up and made her way into the shop. She walked in and commenced her browsing of the articles of clothing within the shop. Katherina hadn't been inside for a while, so she decided to give it a look. See what she had been missing. While she browsed the jean jackets, she gave some of them a look that just screamed 'Really?'; things weren't as decorated as they used to be. Where's all the studs? The safety pins? She didn't come to Durem Depot just to find out she had to decorate the clothing herself once she bought them- If she bought them. Unimpressed with the jackets she decided to look at the accessories. Again, nothing to write home about. So far Katherina was feeling a little let down by what she was seeing. So now she was going to check out the hoodies and hats.
Maci saw someone walk into the store out of the corner of her eye. She set the papers down and walked over to the girl. "Hi, can I help you find something? We have plenty of new items in. The new sweaters are so cute."she said. Maci turned and quickly grabbed one of them. "They are different colors and patterns. Also they are very warm perfect for a cold fall day,"she said. Little did Maci know that she was talking with her best friend's twin sister. "Also we can always hold an item for three days if you aren't able to get it today. That way if you come back at a later date that you'll be able to get one before they are all gone,"she said. The more she look at the girl, she had this strange feeling like she knew her but couldn't think of the name.

Maci saw someone walk into the store out of the corner of her eye. She set the papers down and walked over to the girl. "Hi, can I help you find something? We have plenty of new items in. The new sweaters are so cute."she said. Maci turned and quickly grabbed one of them. "They are different colors and patterns. Also they are very warm perfect for a cold fall day,"she said. Little did Maci know that she was talking with her best friend's twin sister. "Also we can always hold an item for three days if you aren't able to get it today. That way if you come back at a later date that you'll be able to get one before they are all gone,"she said. The more she look at the girl, she had this strange feeling like she knew her but couldn't think of the name.
Katherinawas simply browsing through the sweaters when one of the employees walked up to her, and started in with some suggestion-ception- Or so that's how she perceived it. Next thing Katherina knew, the girl was just staring at her. Blankly. Katherina raised an eyebrow at her. ". . . This isn't very professional. ." Katherina said, in response to the staring. Katherina cleared her throat, and began looking around the room. Showing blatant disinterest in most of the things that she was seeing, except for the hoodie with the horns on it, and a pair of sunglasses. Turning to the girl now, Katherina said, "Just ring me up. Alright?" And Katherina headed towards the front register. The way that this stranger stared at her creeped her out a little. If she recognized her because of who her father is, that wouldn't surprise her. He's in the paper quite a bit, but she doubted that that was the case. Katherina's mind began to wander; Thinking 'What if I'm being stared at because of what I am?' Because ever since The Kuros went "bonkers", as she'd call it, people have been looking at Dark Elves like they're all criminals. And this unsettled her a great deal. Sure, the Kuro business has died down a little, and everyone has stopped looking at Dark Elves in a bad light, but there's still that chance. Katherina decided to stay on guard- she wasn't about to take any chances with this b***h.
