~Description~ Clan name: "Aburame" (油女) means "oil woman". It also may be a variation of "Aburamushi" (油虫), which means "cockroach" Clan's social status: Being one of the four noble clans of Konohagakure, members of the Aburame are treated with care and respect due to their numerous achievements in espionage. But since their weapon is insects and it is not uncommon to see one of their bugs to crawl around on their face or body - they are usually seen as weird, creepy or special by the younger minds that can't see past the superficial. Abilities: Members of this clas, posses the ability to communicate and control - insects. The Aburame is not obliged to just have ONE certain insect spieces. Certain insects, have unique abilities, that could be of use in unique situations. That is why the members are usually taking leaves of absence to dedicate some days to travel and collect rare insects. But what is the most common weapon from their arsenal is their relationship with the "Kikaichū". When a baby is born into the Aburame name, an obligatory arrangement is made with the baby and these bugs. The newborn gets a weapon and a shield and in turn the insects gets a location to have their colony and as you know - insects will protect their colony with their life. History: The clan's scrolls tells the story of ten young shinobis. This was a time long before the shinobi world was united by the "Senju" clan. They was sent on a mission in the now called, "Land of Fire", to investigate a cave that could have become a base of operation for an threatning clan. The ninjas arrieved at the cave to find it at first glance - empty, with no signs of human marks with the local area or by the entrance. Yet they decided to examine the cave further. Later in the investigation, the cave diverged into five different paths. They discussed the dangers of deviding themselves into smaller teams but soon enough concluded that they were all strong in their techniques as shinobi. The one group that survieved this journey consisted of a man named Tashibana Goro and a woman - Ueno Hana, had walked started to encounter skeletons in their path that had no decaying flesh what so ever on them, only the cloths they wore when they entered They knew that their enemy clan were not of a cannabilic nature and figured that battiling the beasts were not a part of their mission description, so they turned to head back to the entrance. But as they started to walk, they noticed black fluid running out of tiny holes in the cave walls. As they ventured forward, the fluid sapped out of more and more holes and blackened the walls and ground that they were walking on. Upon further inspection they noticed that it was not a black mucus that was running seaping out from the holes but black, tiny insects. The insects had quickly blocked the path between them and the rest of their team and pushed them back again towards the heaps of clothing. They attempted to ram the wall with their magic but did not reduce the numbers. At last the two turned and ran in an attempt to find another exit out of the cave further inwards. The black wall turned into a crashing wave that chased them down the path.
Hana and Goro came to a gigantic opening in the cave. The holes had now grown as tall as people and were placed all around the grand cave walls and ceiling. In the middle of the chamber, an high pillar was standing. They tried running into some of the openings in the cave but as they had probably figured, the openings were just spawning out more waves of these insects. After several attempts of fleeing and attacks they knew they were surronded and saw no other option but to flee up onto the the forty feet tall pillar and saw the insects, now taunting around them as waves in a stormy ocean. Their mightest attacks did not influence more than a mosquito would on a mountain. Death was imminate. But they were lucky - these two, at the deviding of the group they sighed of relief to have not been split apart from their mate, these two were passionate lovers and with their last moment of life they turned and embraced eachother, as a gigantic black wave of death - embraced them.
They awoke inside of the cave, shocked to see that their chests were moving. The insects were nowhere in sight. They helped eachother up and slowly, tierdly, began heading from where they had come. But as were just to take their first step out of the big opening. The wall formed again infront of them, and what was just a few seconds earlier a buzz turned into words in their head. They spoke of a bond between man and insect. The voices introduced itself as the insects they had been battling, named: "Kikaichū" and had chosen the two as pioneers for a experimental alliance. The cave that they were currently in, had been their home for as long as chakra streamed into the world. They explained that the "Kikaichū", together with four other insect spieces that lived in the cave, had been merged together with chakra and were now forseeing that the cave would one day run out of it's powersource so they had begun a search for hosts that could help them travel through the world and find a new home. If the two would for every child their family concieved, would bring it to this cave, they would all be blessed by the insects presence in their body and would forever have a ally with them. They agreed to this contract and the black wall slowly seeped into the walls. When they returned clan, they returned with promise of power and protection that would lead the clan to a new era. One of elders of the clan, when witessing the power of the woman, reminded him of black oil that sepped out of her skin, he nicknamed her "Aburame" which later came to be the clan's new name.
Personality: Every person has their own traits and quirks but some characteristics that usually follows the members of the clan is their sincerity and intellect, their strategic analyzing and loyalty to their village as well as an unbreakable calm spirit. But the mixture of calm, seriousnes and analyzing intellect makes them quite a bore at social gatherings but an excellent ally in battle. There are also not alot of words that is uttered by an Aburame's mouth, only what is neccesary for the moment is spoken outward. Maybe this is the cause of childhood training in the art of not revealing information to enemies or maybe it is to gain the upperhand (the one who shows no cards - can have any hand). All in all, an Aburame could be trusted with your life if you are lucky enough to have him on your team but don't ask him/her to give you a toast at your wedding. Appearance: Big clothing, with long sleeves and plenty of space between skin and fabric are usually equppied by these shnobis. The reason for this choice of clothing would be to have their bugs crawl around on more space than just inside their bodies and on the outside of their skin. Black/darkbrown hair are is the current winner of the genetic lineage. The eyes have been a rule to always have hidden, either by black sunglasses or reflective glasses. Elemental Affinity: An Aburame have mostly no use for other techniques but their own but that does not stop them from having one of the four chakra types.

~Limits and Abilities~ Aburame Conditioning Being a part of this clan demands a well developed knowledge in the psychology, biology and anatomy of insects. It offers also tutoring in battle strategy, martial arts, behavioural science, math, physics, history, survival theory in all of the enviormental settings of the world. But this vast intellect comes with a price. From neglecting the actual practice of strenous physical exercises and spending alot of them entrenched in books and grafs, the coordination of both the limbs and the mouth is damaged until the elders start letting the younger of the clan play when they're not studying instead of, well, more studying. Bug bond The thing that has given this clan a seat amongst the four noble clans of Konohagakure is an old contract by the founders and a family of insects called the Kikachü. In exchange for life and strength from their host, a member of the Aburame clan gains a deadly weapon and the ability to communicate back and forth between any insects he/she encounters. This weapon will give it's life for the host (including the colony). Therefor, gaining a shield as much as a sword. Name: Insect Gathering Technique Description: You send out a long web of chakra strings that attracts insects in the nearby area. These insects could inform the user of important information about the area or about significant events that may have transpired. Name: Insect Clone Technique Description: The user creates a clone out of insects that can be used as a decoy but also as a trap when fighting a Taijutsu based opponent. As he performs an attack on the clone, the bugs scatters back to their host but also on the opponent, feasting on his chakra. Rank: D Cp Cost: 20CP per clone Attack Turns: 2 Reflex DC: None Damage: None Requirements: Bug Bond ability, Bunshin no jutsu, Chakra Control 10, Handle Animal, 10 Training: Stage I: Handle Animal DC 23, direct your bugs to form a copy of yourself Stage: II: Chakra Control DC 20, mask that copy with the details such as cloths, skin color, hair etc Special: Can create 1 per 7 ranks in Chakra Control. The insects then emit a small amount of the their host's respective chakra that they usually feed on. This confuses sensor-type shinobi's chakra-sensing ability, as the insects' irregular distribution and grouping together result in the creation of numerous false 'images' or chakra signals, making it more difficult to distinguish the user's actual location. Name: Insect Dome Technique Description: This technique uses the kikaichū as a shield by having them fly in a dome shape at high speed, similar to the Hyūga's Eight Trigrams Palms Revolving Heaven. The dome is strong enough to destroy incoming attacks, but can be disrupted with sufficient explosive force. ~Clan Specific Weapons~ Kikachü Insects Controlled by the members of the Aburame clan, the Kikachü species has a unique ability of absorbing chakra. Succesfully landing a few of these bugs on an enemy can cause severe chakra drainage and if not removed - death.
Kidachü Insects A rare insects that demands an extensive search for to try and aquire these dangerously strong insects. The bodies of the Kidachü insects reacts in a very peculiar way when given an exessive amount of chakra - the bugs grow rapidly. This rapid growth leads to a rage of scaviging for supplements, not stopping at absorbing more chakra but also any flesh might be near by. (4 is the maximum amount per character to have) How they are acquired: Passing 10/10, Survival DC 50

~Clan Specific Items~ Extra Blackend Sun-Glasses To have their eyes covered at all times is a mysterious custom that the Aburame seem to pass down to their children. Some say it's for the bugs that they own have a nasty habit of walking around on the rim of their eyeballs, creeping everyone who ever tried to hold a conversation with a member of the clan. Or they all think shades are a freaking, cool necessity. Rank: Passive Requirements: Aburame, but can also be bought in stores. Special: Grants +2 vs opposing Sense Motive checks.
