I've really been wanting to talk Halloween avatars with people, so I figured this is as good a place as any, but I'd love to hear what people are doing in real life as well!
..It might still be a bit early, but once it hit October I couldn't stop myself from trying to work up an avatar.
So this year my idea was to make a Lolita-themed avatar and then add in some gore.
Disapprove of her culture and you might find yourself at the end of her knife.

I don't do anything for Halloween in real life though, I moved states/regions a couple years back and I haven't felt much pull since then.
Plus everybody my age prefers to do "sexy" costumes.
Not really my cup o' tea.
But yeah, share away!
(Or don't.. but I'll be sad.)

My avi is always creepy or weird.
I suppose I am a suspicious butler. The face I used looks extra untrustworthy. twisted
As for real life. I dress up for Halloween EVERY YEAR! Last year I was Jason Voorhees. This year I will be a Witch Doctor (but a more modern one.)
One of my favorite costumes was two years ago when I was Mrs. White (from the board game CLUE) in the Kitchen, with the Knife. Hahahahaha! It was pretty sweet. 3nodding

Not doing anything with my avatar, but all month I've been dressing slightly spoopier than usual. I have a large amount of black clothing as-is, but I've added black nail polish and eyeliner to my wardrobe for the month. I rather like it, so I might keep using it!
As for Halloween itself, I'm going to my friends' Halloween Party dressed as one of my characters, Christopher Robinson. The day before, on the 30th, I have to work so I'll probably dress as an (undead?) 50s woman, since I made a 50s frock earlier this year and have yet to have a chance to wear it out.

Gaia: I am a WITCH... of sorts...
IRL: I am going as Bride of Chucky (doll). I've been wanting to do this for years! I have blonde hair and green eyes IRL so I just need the outfit, which will be easy and inexpensive. My boyfriend is going as Chucky... A 6'4" Chucky... it will be hilarious!!

I originally had my avi looking all halloweeny and October colors but I sold all those items away in the middle of September because I got tired of her. She was a bat.
Now she is a devil? xD
For real life I am probably going to be a white and black neko.

For real life, I won't be able to go out. If I where able, I would have dressed up as one of the Silent Hill nurses.

I just did an easy halloween based avi, Nothing really special, but next time I might go all out when I have a little more to work with.
As for rl I still dress up and go trick or treating, and will probably do so until I can no longer walk. Free candy anytime. This year I' a day of the dead grim reaper.
