Extra Information on Appearance: Often wears a bright red suit with tassels hanging off of it that is rather fancy and also very good for keeping him dry and drying out rapidly as water would drip down the tassels. He has had it made by those of Ventus
Family/friend(s)/allies with: Most of his family is probably off somewhere in some city trying to talk someone down on the price of an item. While his family is not small, he is an only son so he is not very close to anyone.
History: Adventurous and rather daring, He particularly travels through storms and collects charged water particles. It becomes a condensed steam that can run steam works for long periods of time. A great follower of Backahasten, there are two horse seals on both sides of the ship. Though he doesn't keep his ship bound to water, it can be lowered to do so and normally has five hundred gallons on board the ship most of the time. He has rarely stayed anywhere long enough to get a good amount of history going as he is normally running people or or items everywhere. While he could have a good running business, he has taken to making a steam that is charged with magic and lightning and has been trying to sell it and raise the price as an alternate to burning things or ulterior source of power but has trouble making sells off of his radical idea because of how hard it is to get some people to try something new.
Personality: Indifferent to most events, slightly self centered at times and seeks his own entertainment often. Quite easy to read though which normally makes for an easy friendship... as long as you can deal with someone who would probably jump off the side of a sky ship to go after a coin...
Weapon(s): Three crank crossbow steam crossbow. Setting one is just hand cranked and only around 300 pounds on the string and easy to rearm and quick fire but extremely limited range and impact, a 800 pound setting which is also hand cranked and is a standard basic hunting crossbow, in a fight a wielder would probably only get one shot without having more range in which a wielder would want.
The crossbow though does have a setting that has got him to name it "Castle Crasher" where he takes steam from an engine, preferably charged steam and amplifies its pressure with his magic while cranking the pullbar at the same time. The tension gauge is unknown as it normally snaps anything that could test how much weight is put on the cable. Using that setting though is agonizing, time consuming and takes both a bolt made entirely out of steel and the energized steam that he farms off of lightning strikes. It also rarely kills a target unless they are behind at least three walls to flatten out the arrow as it will normally go through two bricks before actually shattering them. So the level of risk of hitting something he doesnt want to hit is high enough that he probably would not use it ever unless a king or queen gave him permission in their kingdom.
Strengths: Having a ship gives him a great ability to travel anywhere he wants. Is rather great at moving water and being moved around by water. Two of his best skills is making the water dense enough to walk on which can also push people around. As a pilot, he needs good eyes to see where he is going and what he is doing and fortunately, he has great eyes.
Weaknesses: One of the largest penny pinchers you may ever find. While he might be good at getting deals with what he learns as he goes, he will still try and sell high and buy so low that most people on the other end of a deal would probably become furious. He is not very practiced at being lethal with his magic, most of the time he uses it to get a bit more acceleration out of whatever he is doing.
Lux magic tends to be quite painful because of the sensitivity of his eyes.
Additional Information: He can only collect about 1% of an actual lightning strike, the rest gets spat out and back into the clouds and the hyper charged water stays as a steam. Most of it is expelled through two pressure gauges, splitting the heat and pressure so it can expand instantly without destroying the hundred gallon drum (which the 50% from one gauge powers his ship for most of the rest of the flight). After leaving the storm, the drum is switched out and a new steam drum is placed to replace the lost water. He keeps five drums aboard the ship to run the ship.
When not diving directly into a thunder storm, the ship uses crystals from the kingdom of Lux to heat its boilers and just barely has negative buoyancy as some of the beams are made from ore purchased in the Ventus kingdom which is why it can fly with a smaller balloon than the others seen in the picture above, but is also much smaller in cargo because of the extreme price to purchase the ore.
