Time: 4 PM The door to the cafe opened with its normal jingle, but admitted a rather inordinary customer. The girl looked to be no older than twenty, a European from her features and coloring; her skin naturally pale but sunkissed, her long, somewhat sun-streaked, curly brown hair cascading all the way down to her waist, her bangs emphasizing her cobalt-blue eyes. And above all, her height; she absolutely towered above most of the other customers, and seemed distinctly aware of it.
She wore a dressy uniform of some kind-- a concierge at a hotel, maybe?--, although a small aquamarine pendant had managed to poke its way above her tie. A gilt quartz nameplate the left breast pocket of her grey vest read 'Lorelei' in both Kanji and the Latin alphabet.
She sat at a table closest to the open window, shifting a bit to get comfortable in the chairs meant for someone shorter than her.

Penna slouched back into one of the couches while she looked into the fireplace near her. Since it was so early in the day and the weather was pretty warm out for now, it was obvious that the contraption was not lit with flames. Instead, it was just a bunch of ash and wood sitting there, waiting for a spark or some kindle to join it.A bunch of papers and binders lied next to her, her backpack pressed between her back and the couch for extra comfort. Though many might think the textbooks in there would be considered uncomfortable, the stability helped Penna's back. She had an exam coming up and she really didn't want to think about the fact that she just got fired. Sure, she was at school for a full ride and few people that knew her dad had pulled strings for her. But she still needed money for food, emergencies, etc. Paying hundreds of dollars on her textbooks had already screwed her over big time. And she wasn't about to ask for help from her father or step mother. They needed all of the help that they could get.A long sigh escaped her as she desperately tried to get herself to focus on her assignments but found it almost impossible to do so. Money had been such a big thing in her life that it was practically impossible to ignore it when she needed it. Not that she didn't need to do well on this test or anything, but money seemed like a more immediate problem.Looking to the counter where a few treats and customers were ordering their afternoon coffee, she thought over getting herself another frappucino. She had already consumed two since being there, but she loved their sweet taste. It was almost like it was nectar from the Gods themselves.A scone would have been nice too.No! Stop! You need to study! Frowning at the homework and papers she needed to finish, she grabbed one of her other binders. She had hopes that switching the subject would allow her brain to process thoughts a little more clearly. But from what she could see, it didn't seem that way.Pouting, she went to looking around again. Hopefully inspiration would hit her if she saw something or someone of interest. 【LOCATION】► Bean Me Up!【COMPANY】► Employees and Customers of Bean Me Up【MOOD】► Tired

Siddalee cheerfully wove her way though the tables, a smile on her face and a song in her heart. She was expertly balancing a large tray of confectionery pastries on one arm and a steaming pot of coffee in the other. Her smile was infectious; as she reached the table in question, her customers' faces lit up along with her own. "Here you are," she chimed, setting the plates in front of her customers. It was a couple in their early twenties, most likely out on a date. Secretly Sidda found herself feeling slightly jealous, though it would never show on her face. "More coffee for either of you?"
"Oh, yes please," the young girl replied sweetly. Her polite gentleness struck Sidda, and she suddenly found herself feeling slightly guilty for ever coveting the girl's position. She refilled her coffee with the sweetest smile she could offer.
Work wasn't the time for daydreams, anyhow.
Moving along, she rested the now empty tray back on the line as it awaited another load of cakes and treats. With an almost half-minded ease, she started another fresh pot of coffee while simultaneously putting the old pot in the window to be washed off. The lunch rush had come and gone, and the cafe was starting to settle down to its usual calm once more. Sidda decided it would probably be a good time to restock the sweetener packets on each table, or maybe-
-of course, the familiar ring of the front door sounded once again. Sometimes you just couldn't get a break around here, though it did little to dampen Sidda's spirits. The busier they were, the faster the day seemed to go by. She rinsed her hands off, patted them down on her skirt, and then continued to flap them about to dry them further as she made her way to greet the new customer.
She fluttered over to Lorelei like a personal ray of sunshine, deftly retrieving her notepad from her belt as she spoke. "Hey there! Welcome to Bean Me Up! Can I get you anything to drink while you look at the-" she trailed off. It had taken her quite a long moment to realize how familiar her customer looked. Then the nametag caught her eye. "-oh! Sailor-! err...." she stopped herself, almost dropping her notepad. She regained herself clumsily. "I, uh. I mean. Wow! Lorelei! Hey!" she offered, giggling nervously. "Fancy seeing you here!"
She tucked some stray hair behind one of her ears, hoping none of her other customers saw her small blunder. Off to the side, she noticed Penna had come in, too, at some point. She wasn't in her section, and being served by a different employee- but the urge to sneak over and mingle hit her like a train. This always happened when her friends popped in like this- she sneakily moved her eyes from Penna to the kitchen door, hoping her boss wasn't watching, wherever he was...

Lorelei blinked rapidly at Sidda, trying to figure out why the girl knew her name. Then her own gaze dipped to the nametag on Sidda's own uniform, a faint flicker of recognition lighting across her face before she met Sidda's eyes.
"Hallo, Sidda. I did not realize you worked here." Her voice was soft, her Japanese only slightly halting, but heavily accented by her natural German diction. Sidda's bright demeanor pulled a small half-smile from Lorelei as she sat up a little more. "I suppose that means I'll have to come by here more often for my lunch break, hm?" Her smile grew into a proper one, trying to put the blonde at ease.

Sidda was quick to blush. More nervous giggling escaped her. "Well, if you want the best coffee and cakes in Crystal Tokyo, you sure will~!" she beamed, matching Lorelei's smile. It was easy to get swept away in conversation (not to mention, Sidda had about a hundred and one questions concerning the girl and her new Senshi status), but she forced herself to stay on task.
"What can I get you to drink while you wait? Do you need some time to look at the menu, or-?"
Again, she trailed off. It wasn't exactly strange to see the girl here, but Sidda was still somewhat starstruck in her presence. But why? She'd been a senshi longer than Lorelei- shouldn't she herself be the one to look up to? It was hard for Sidda to abandon the enthusiasm for her new status, and her interest in the other Senshi. To her, it still felt quite unreal, like some video game. She was a part of a magical group of girls blessed with super powers, and the whole idea sent Sidda into ultimate giddy mode. Talking to Lorelei only encouraged these feelings.
And Penna was here, too, she reminded herself as she glanced back in her direction. It was like a teeny little Senshi gathering! Whether her boss was watching or not, she decided it would be worth it to risk a short chit-chat with her once she'd taken Sailor Aquama- Lorelei's order.
Gosh, she'd have to be careful about this stuff in public.

"Black tea would be wonderful, thanks. I don't want to pull you away from your work." Once again Lorelei gave her that half-smile, sizing Sidda up as well. It was hard to think of her as a senshi-- a warrior. But then again, wasn't that the case with Caesi as well?
Oh dammit... Just thinking of the girl brought a faint blush to her cheeks. No, stop that! They're just roommates!!!

They say when you speak of the devil, he usually appears. In this case it was thinking of said pink haired roommate that she entered. Only, Caesi's eyes were glued to her tablet, her headphones secured over her ears that blared some music only faintly heard by anyone walking by.
The only reason she came by was because it was close to her new temp-job five blocks over. Of course she could've gone somewhere else, but today she wanted to drop by to see Sidda, whom she hadn't talked to in a while. Securing her messenger bag in front to put away the tablet, Caesi's purple eyes widened a bit seeing not just Sidda but Lorelei and Penna there.
Was there a magnet drawing them all together or what? Though, a soft smile flit across her face, it was really nice to see something like this. Maybe she should work with others more often?
Still, Caesi wasn't sure to join any of them or not. It might be best to let the newer ones get more acquainted with each other. Besides, she already knew Sidda- sort..of..- and Lorelei lived with her.
The only one she didn't know at all was Penna. She was curious, just a bit about her. What kind of person was she?
For a moment, Caesi seemed to zone out, lost in her thoughts. Should she talk to her or not? It didn't feel like the girl was upset, maybe slightly frustrated? She wasn't sure how to describe it.
However, her stomach made the ultimate choice in growling loud enough to make its' complaint heard. Oh right, she was here for food before she went back to work.
Oh, right! That was why she ultimately came by.
"Hey Sid, Lorelei." She waved at them before snagging a seat just a table over. After all, if she gets caught up in the conversations, she would forget to leave. Not that that was entirely a bad thing.

"Oh, me? Pff," Sidda waved a dismissive hand. "Don't worry. We're pretty slow right now, and the old man has a soft spot for me anyways..." she continued, flipping her notepad open to a blank page. She scribbled the order down in her most legible handwriting possible.
"Oookie dokie!" she said sweetly, tearing the page out and tucking the notepad back into her belt. "The tea's kinda been sitting there for a second, so I'll get a fresh pot brewin' for ya. Shouldn't be but a minute or two!"
She bowed politely and hurried off with her order.
Back behind the counter, Sidda found herself working a lot more quickly than before. She simultaneously began the hot water drip and tagged Lorlei's order in the window- in response, the kitchen sent out a tea tray complete with 3 different flavors of packaged cream, a shallow bowl of real lump sugar, plus a petit and stylish teacup on a matching saucer. Trying to match the kitchen's speed, she bent to rummage around for the tea bags under the counter.
"Black tea, black tea..." she mumbled as she searched. She'd read somewhere that if you said out loud what you were looking for, that you'd find it faster. "Black tea... ah!" She grabbed a couple packets, tore them open, and dropped the fragrant bags of tea into the now-full pot of water. Caramel-colored tendrils of liquid seeped from the bags and began turning the water a delightfully dark color. It really did smell nice, Sidda thought to herself as she inhaled some of the steam. She hoped Lorelei would be pleased.
She returned with an air of pride about her work, all smiles and sweetness as she lowered the tray onto Lorelei's table. "Here ya go, darlin'. I'll be back, but if you need anything- oh!" Caesi caught Sidda's eye. When had she gotten here? She must have been so caught up in brewing that tea, she hadn't noticed. "Well, heya Caesi!"
Suddenly she felt awkward, and she couldn't quite place why. Since meeting King Helios, Sidda hadn't really seen or interacted with Caesi since their highschool days- and even then, she wasn't sure the pink Senshi even liked her. Caesi was always so quiet and distant, where she herself was loud and bubbly and kind of obnoxious. Was there any room for her friendship in Caesi's life?
"You sit tight, girlie," she told Caesi, smiling despite her immense feelings of self-consciousness, then nodded to a waitress pouring coffee at a nearby table. "Yuuki will be with you in just a moment."
Trying not to let her own thoughts get to her, she lingered just long enough to shoot Lorelei a playful wink, then turned to return the now empty tray to the kitchen. Once she had done so, she peered through the window into the kitchen, craning her neck and balancing on her tiptoes.
The boss was nowhere in sight, probably busy in the back... A devilish smile curled her lips. Now was her chance.
Sneaking out from behind the counter, Sidda cleverly grabbed a clean rag to wipe off tables with should the boss suddenly see her in the lobby. It was a good back-up plan, and she smiled at herself all the way to Penna's table. She abruptly and, probably to Penna's surprise, sat directly across from her fellow Senshi and struck an innocent pose- resing her chin in her palms and swinging her crossed ankles back and forward underneath her. "Hey, baby," she said, in a comically low and boy-ish voice. "Buy you a drankk?"
Her lips thinned as she tried not to laugh. Work always had her going at a quick pace, but seeing her friends during her shift also made her incredibly playful. It almost didn't feel like working when there were familiar faces around.

Lorelei gave Sidda a grateful smile-- which was about all she could do before the girl was flitting off again. She looked over at Caesi, raising an eyebrow slightly at her. She really did have the best-- or worst-- timing, didn't she?
"How's work?" She asked, taking a sip of her tea. Mmm, now that was brewed well. She'd have to make sure to tell Sidda that when she came back over.

Caesi only waited until Sidda was away before she stuck her tongue out at Lorelei. She quickly was the image of the 'cool type' of girl when the other waitress, Yuuki, came over to take her order. She ordered a sandwich and some lavender tea.
Once the woman was gone again, she leaned against the table, resting her chin against the back of her hand. With a dramatic sigh, she said, "It was, as it was. Dreadful, darling, I completely am drained with all that work- I make them do."
Chuckling lightly, Caesi leaned back in her chair, her red and black shirt strained a little across her chest. She crossed her legs, smoothing her red plaid skirt down. Everything was quiet, more or less in her mind. Even though she had felt the unease from Sidda earlier. Now, it was in the background, disappearing and replaced by other emotions. That was fine, really,
"How was work for you, Lorel?"

Lorelei chuckled softly, shaking her head. Of course Caesi would be over the top about that. It was rather interesting to see how she was around their teammates as well, considering how she acted at home.
Again she blushed, a bit deeper this time as she shook her head. God, what was wrong with her today?
"It's going well. I'm just enjoying my lunch break." She laughed softly. "Although it's always entertaining to listen to people talk about me, thinking that I have no idea what they're saying, and then to pipe up in their language to call them out on it."
