Welcome and thank you for volunteering to be a part of our project! While we can't release much information about the island itself, or any core aspects of our research, we can tell you that you will enjoy your stay and you will be well taken care of. If you ever had the dream of having a Pokemon as fast Jolteon and as strong as Rampardos, your dreams have come true!

Before we can enlist just anybody into our program, we must ask a few questions to measure the worthiness of the applicant to ensure that all of our information will not be under authoritative scrutiny or stolen or used in any damaging, negative way.

First, tell us about yourself.

I chewed gently on the end of my ballpoint pen. This was really important. I MUST write so that person-on-other-end can read the words. Also, a good impression is entirely important. "First section," I muttered quietly.

SECTION 1-A

What is your name? Easy enough. Claire Maxine
Do you have a preferred name? Do I have a something like this? I don't think so... No, I don't.
How old are you? Also easy. 25
What is your gender? I don't think this should matter. I guess it's just that they're curious. Female.
Where are you from? Should I put birthplace or where I currently live? Hm, both it is. Born in Saffron, Kanto and live in New Bark Town, Johto.

That's over with. Next is... personal description? Another thing that shouldn't matter... But it is required. I guess they'd need to recognize me.

SECTION 2-A
What do you look like? Good thing I have a mirror over my desk, I don't think about this a lot. Very messy long brown hair in a pony tail. Eye color varies from brown to hazel depending on lighting. Standard Caucasian skin with some isolated freckles. Thin lips and somewhat flat nose.
What is your style of clothing? This is slightly easier. I guess I should do both causal and formal. For casual clothing, shirts with cute pokemon on them, jeans, and a brown cap. Also, sneakers. For formal wear, slightly fancy purple shirts and dress pants, no hat.

That's over with... Now this next section is about me, huh? I still think all this stuff shouldn't matter. But everything is required, so I'll fill it out.

SECTION B

Tell us about yourself.

Let's see...

I am a young woman who has lived in many places. Because of my Father's job as a police auditor, we've traveled all over Kanto, Johto, Sinnoh, and Hoenn. We have also stayed in Castelia City, Unova and Kiloude City, Kalos. Since the age of 15, I've been my father's assistant. Three years ago, he retired and we settled down in New Bark Town. I've since got what Dad calls itchy feet, as in the need to travel more.
My only family is my father. My mother died when I was very young, and Dad is estranged from his family.
I am indifferent towards a person's looks and gender, instead I like to see how they act before judging them. I hate liars and false flatterers a lot.
I refuse to eat anything with tomatoes. Chocolate filled bread is my favorite food. Seafood makes me throw up, which is sad because it's delicious.
Canine pokemon make me nervous. I like fox types and cat types a lot. Dragon types are intimidating (especially the trainers who specialize in them), but I'd love to have one of the cuter ones. I am indifferent to most other types.
I admittedly don't take very good care of my body. I have several scars on my hands from where I got them caught in doors or closed drawers on them. I remember the time when I was 17 I broke my ankle and didn't notice for an hour. Dad was really mad at me.
That being said, I can push through pain quite well, like that time I walked that broken ankle for an hour thinking it was only sprained.
I've always been too busy traveling and helping my father to have my own pokemon. I'd really like a pokemon that I can bond with, and one who would remind me to say, brush my hair and bathe every day.

How did you hear about this project? There was a poster for it in Professor Elm's lab.
Why did you decide to volunteer for this project? I have a bad case of the itchy traveling feet. I want to see new places and meet new people and pokemon.
What is your main goal/what do you wish to achieve from this project? This is a hard one...
I'd like to settle in a region where a lot of new things are being developed and discovered, so that I won't get bored. I also want to advise companies on how they can do things better, like my father did for police stations all around the world.

Are you afraid?
I am nervous. I shall be away from my father for the first time. He seems more scared than I am, though. I just want to get traveling again and discover new things. Dad's done with traveling, so I have to separate from him to follow my dreams.
