Okay, so, we've actually gotten a few new members, but activity still hasn't really jumped. So I was wondering how to spice things up. But thinking on my own isn't going to get me anywhere. So here's the thing, I want you guys to tell me what you would like to see. I'm on break until next week, so pour it all in while you can have my full, undivided attention.
At the same time, I realized that I haven't been using my imaginative juices lately. Then I thought of something. What if I used my creative writing, to help generate RPs for others, as in, I set the stage, and any two people can pick it up and run away with it using their own characters. Heck, I'd even create the character basics if it means you all will play more! So if you'd like that sort of thing, just say so here, okay?

If you want to help me out, my quest for you is to edit my RPs so that they sound more exciting than they are.
I am sure that all I need to do is tweak them a bit and they'd be great, but...since you are offering, perhaps you may be able to do something.
From my experience, what really attracts people to role-plays is how they are set up.
One thing that could help is a small banner or an image that wows the title. It is optional of whether or not the title of the RP itself is within the banner.
If one chooses not to put an image, then have a decorative, but readable title.
Another thing that helps is be sure that someone else can reply to it regardless of their skill.
Keep the RP's first post to the point, but never forgetting the essential ingredients.
1. Title
2. Background information
3. Character profile skeleton
4. Rules of the RP that are over and above the Guild and Gaia TOS. Every RP has to follow Guild and Gaia TOS.

Empress, what you stated would benefit more in an advice column. Or a how-to thread. What I'm referring to is putting my creative writing to use for those that need an RP to play.
Next, I feel the need to say this, all your RPs have convoluted plots. Narrow it down to one dimension, and shy away from your Multiverse. It was fine in your guild since you had it spelled out there in full detail. But here, when you condense and shorten it, it was just even more confusing.
There's also the matter of your 'family'. Even when you didn't involve the Multiverse, 'Bogard' always shows up. You need to get fresh again. I don't mind crossover RPs, but the limit is two for the sake of your partner(s).
And speaking from experience, visuals mean almost nothing in RPs. It's mainly about how you tell it. A banner would be excess work for those who don't know how or don't care for it.
If you can't see what I'm referring to, go back to some of your previous RPs and read them from start to end while paying attention to the differences in yours posts and your partner'(s)'.

Aw, Sunday and just one bite for you bud :C Tis hard to get fresh rp meat. But it's cool you were willing to creative-juice up some RP scenarios and plots for them, even if they didn't bite C:
(Haha, just spotted this today and thought I'd pop in for a friendly kudos. I've gotten so used to just jumping right into the 1x1 forum ;w; )

I'm leaving this topic up, regardless. Since it was such a short amount of time, I'll leave this as a requests tab. I know we have an Idea Discussion, so this won't be the same. This is going to be a last resort or a kind of 'pandering' to my inner writing. School homework doesn't leave much elbow room for creativity that I like.
If anyone wants me to generate an RP for them, post what you're in the mood for. I shy away from is Historical rps since that requires a bit of research.
I'm not adverse to anime/manga-based rps. Just know that I may take some time if it's something I've not seen/read or need a refresher on.
Aside from that, my ask is open is you have any other questions, requests, or concerns that you don't won't to publish in the guild forums.

You mentioned to Dee before to shy away from her multiverse, and she really tries, but you kinda missed her idea. I got it almost right away.
Okay, lets say she wants to do a Harvest Moon based role-play, but having a boy-love spin on things (we've tried that in other guilds too, but they were flops). She wouldn't have to use the last name of Bogard for that sort of thing.
Remember, in Dee's own guild, that list of kings she has...it comes in handy when it comes to switching partners. For a Naruto based, she'd have Uchiha for last name. For a Harvest moon based, she'd have Woodsman as last name.
Now maybe you're right and this would be better in an advice column, but you did bring up the idea that this was a help topic.
Anyway...
If you wanted to create a role-play based off of Pokemon, I think that'd be neat. A multiplayer boy-love themed Pokemon RP.
