The walk from 4 had not taken very long in comparison to her walk from 13. Of course, she had been alone and thoroughly upset before, so the walk had seemed to take forever. Though she was still not feeling her best by any means now, she had company, and that company was excited and happy about the prospect of ice cream.

Olyna would have to thank Yuzuki for that later on.

She led the way into the building, pushing open the door and immediately being met with the wonderful smell of candied sugar and deliciousness. Chocolate, Vanilla, fruits… dear lord. This shop was a death trap just waiting to happen. “On second thought… this might not have been such a good idea to bring Honey to…” she said, glancing down at the boy. How would he get around all this sweet goodness? "Ice cream bar is over there. Let's go before... shopping" she said, trying to usher the pair to one side.

Takeshi walked into ice cream shop with a bored look, it seems he was gone for to long on a training trip and be lost his spot as Captain, thought the squad had no captain still, it was still new to him so he didnt know how to do it just yet. Good thing squad fours captain made him her LT, she likes to cling to him anyways.

As he walked in the wind blew as he opened the door, making his red hair wave in the winds, he use yo wear his captain robe but he now went back to wearing normal clothing, a pair of black somewhat baggy pants, a white T shirt, he decided to not wear his jacket since his body heat was always warm.

Takeshi looked around and his pale red eyes widened when he saw someone who looked like Yuzuki, everything hit him at one time, she was kidnapped or that what he was told back before the last cycle got destroyed, he went hunting for her, killing many arrancar snd hollow untill they wrote her off as dead, he shook his head and ran a hand down his face. No way it could be her.. she was long gone and he could protected her, he was her LT and she died.. he gritted his teeth and walked to a booth and sat in it, he didnt even know why be was here..

Yuzuki had been smiling at Honey, as he of course told her his favourite ice cream. Cookie dough, Yuzuki positively beamed in approval.

"That one is my favourite too. But sometimes I liked something with lots of strawberry flavour too."

She was perfectly at ease as she held the little blonde boy's hand, her brown eyes were scanning the shelves. She sincerely hoped that Akane and Misaru didn't find this place... it was bad enough Akane figured out where the candy stash in Reeka's squad was.

She was laughing a bit at the bouncing bunny, grinning over at Olly. Again...she was perfectly at ease. Perhaps that's why the energy surprised her. Snuck up on her. Took her by complete surprise. When the man came in the smile disappeared off of her face and her eyes widened.... and slowly the woman turned around.

Takeshi.... he looked a little different. He even felt a little different. But his signature...it was the same underneath it all. Her breath caught in her throat.
Her old lieutenant. He'd been so dedicated to her, to protecting her. Despite several unpleasant incidents, he'd even been the one who held her after her best friend... her first friend... Miyako had died. He'd been the one to hold her body together there beside the bed her dead friend had been on.

There was so much memories... And Yuzuki was shocked, her hand slipped from the little boys and she reached up to cover her mouth with both hands, tears welling up in her eyes.

This whole time...she'd thought he'd been dead. Caught in the destruction of the Seireitei...
"Ta...ka....shi...."Her voice was soft...it sounded strained as if she wasn't sure of the words she was speaking...

He was alive! ALIVE! And in a blur the small woman had launched herself at her old friend who seemed completely lost... he'd noticed her and she'd seen it... he looked as if he had seen a ghost. Her arms wrapped around him, not caring for the moment that she'd just used Shunpo in a small enclosed space ... to launch herself into a giant hug on someone who might have been taken off guard, or the fact that tears were now streaming down her face. None of that seemed to matter really.

The one thing that would give it away... the one thing that would never change about Yuzuki. Her scent. The smell of lavender flowers always lingered heavily around her, wafted off of her hair... he would know she was real by her scent. He always had."Takeshi-kun... you're alive... You're alive!"

"Now I'm even imagining her scent..." Yuzuki looked up, her brown eyes searching Takeshi's face. He was lost... she reached up and put her hands on either side of her face, suddenly realizing it was important that she put aside her own emotions right now, the ones that were crying in sorrow for the lost time, the misguided stories of what they were, the agony she'd felt when she thought he was dead...

It was clear...whatever he'd been told by the leaders of the past... he thought that Yuzuki was gone...

This man.. he had such a profound attachment to her... she could see now how broken he was in his eyes and she reached up instinctively... she didn't know what to do, or how to bring back her former lieutenant. To make him realize she was there in front of him..

Her mind thought back to the time with Miyako once more. She'd been distraught, her pressure had been out of control, she was hurting herself. The pain of losing her friend had made her lose herself completely.. and Takeshi had kissed her.

It hadn't exactly been the reaction he'd been hoping for when she realized what wa going on... but it had certainly brought her back to the present. It had brought her back to him from the dark depths of her mind.

Would it work? Would it be okay? She honestly had no idea... but he'd done it once for her, saved her from the darkness of her own mind. She owed him that much...especially after the way she'd had to abandon him in the past.

"Takeshi-kun... I'm real. I'm right here..."

She told him in a soft voice, standing up on her toes - he'd always been so much taller than her and she reached around, pulling his head down and pressed her lips against his ... hoping that it would do for him what it had once done for her...it would save him from the sadness that had consumed him.

He slowly came around, until she began to feel him kissing her back... she let the kiss linger a moment longer before pulling away, her brown eyes searching his face, the tears having stemmed from her eyes but had yet to completely dry.

"Taka-kun...if I'd known you were alive... I would have came for you..."

Wait. That raised a peculiar question in her mind. How come she hadn't known he was alive? Set... he was the captain commander. Had he purposely kept this information from her? He had to know Takeshi had been alive... so why hadn't he told her?
"Takashi... I promised two special doctors I'd get them ice cream. But... you should stay with us. Stay with me. We have... we have a long time to catch up on... I have so much to tell you..." She hadn't fully let go of him yet. She didn't realize it in the moment, but she was clinging to him - like a soul to a body, she hung on to him with clenched hands, his clothes bundled up in her small fists, her body pressed close to him.

It was as if she was afraid he would disappear... it wasn't often that Yuzuki was caught being vulnerable but this time was one of them.

She smiled up at Takashi. She was the same as usual. He wanted to fight her still. It's how he really connected with people. It always had been... she remembered the last time they dualed... he'd nearly killed her because she'd put away her zan and he'd been charging to her through smoke and didn't see she was unarmed time to stop herself.

She wasn't that eager to repeat the experience to be honest.. but she would do it. For Takashi, she would. But... first. Ice cream. She gestured to Olly and Honey.

"I promised them Ice cream. Join us for a bit. Then we will cross blades."

She promised him, her hands tracing down and taking one of his bigger ones in her delicate looking ones, giving him a pleading look. She didn't want him to leave her side just yet ...or she might convince herself it was a dream..

Yuzuki breathed out a happy sigh, and when he squeezed her hand she swallowed back the happy emotional tears that threatened to over take her again... She turned to Takeshi, then pulled him by his hand towards Honey and Olly and smiled at them.

"Takashi-kun will be joining us if that is okay? Takashi-kun, this is Honey-chan and Olly-san. Takashi-kun was once long ago my lieutenant when I was once a captain of the Seireitei. It's been a very long time since I've seen him..."

She explained this quickly, hoping that they would understand, Also giving them an apologetic bow, though she did not let go of Takashi's hand.
"Olly-san, Takashi-kun... what ice cream do you two want? I already know what Honey-chan wants." She asked, beaming happily around at the small group.
