- Damen was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, so to speak. Eventhough the Frosts had lots of money they were not your typical richy rich people. They were more down to earth and actually approachable compared to the others who were all so stuck up and turned their noses up at everyone believing that because they had money that made them somehow better than people who did not have as much money.
The Frosts resided in a qaint four bedroom three bathroom log cabin out in the rocky mountains of North Maroon Peak in Colorado. It is said that this mountain is the most photographed in all of Colorado, and when you see it, you will understand why. With a reflective lake to cast back its beauty and a crystalline blue sky to frame its edges, the pryamid-like peak of this mountain is a photographer's dream. The naked face of this often snow-dusted behemoth stands in contrast to the lush greenery of conifers and brilliant wildflowers that grow in their shadows.
This is where Damen and his younger brother, Seth were born and raised. Their father, Logan began teaching both boys at a very young age ways of protecting themselves and surviving on their own without the luxuries of today's world. This being because their father did not have such luxuries as a child and the struggle he dealt with growing up is what made him such an amazingly caring father and husband as well as a person that cherishes what he has instead of taking it for granted. The boys were taught manners as well as respect for all others, women in particular for they are the ones that bring us into this world.
Their mother, Rosalie had been a school teacher when she was younger but an evil woman green with envy of Rosalie's near perfect life tarnished her reputation and Rosalie was banned from teaching at the school ever again. This of course did not falter her much though because by then her first born son was mere months away from resting in her loving arms. So this only meant that she would have even more time to spend with him as well as her adoring husband. Rosalie decided when the time came that she did not want her boys going to that school for the mere fact that she did not want their innocence tainted by the cruel and hatful people that resided there. She kept both Damen and Seth with her and home schooled them both.
Sadly one night a knock came at their door. Damen had not been expecting company and his folks were uptown getting groceries. He warily peaked out from behind the curtain to see a hefty man wearing a tan uniform with a matching hat along with black boots and a belt with several items attached to it including a gun. Damen's eyes immediatly widened as he realised this to be the town sheriff. He quickly walked to the door and opened it to come face to face with a grief stricken sheriff Grady. The sheriff proceeded to tell Damen that their had been a terrible accident and that his parents did not survive.
Not long after that is when Damen and Seth were shipped off to an orphanage but it did not take long for people to adopt them. For being son's of the Frosts meant whomever adopted them, got their money too. Unfortunately as much and as hard as Damen faught for it his brother Seth and him were taken to two different new homes, far far away from one another.
The years passed and so did all the new families wanting to adopt Damen and then just as quickly as they had gotten him they were giving him back. One day while with his seventh family Damen was visited by a Vampire Tracker, here he was marked and sent away to the nearby House Of Night.
