We're not. The writers are already working on a new project for Dreamworks.

So it is very unlikely Avatar will be carried on. To be honest, it should end with this season. I hate things being milked. Hopefully they end this with us knowing what happens to Korra.

Why? Outfits may change, but traditions would stay the same. Like Jinora has the traditional haircut for a tattooed woman.

That was because he was holding on to the past too much. He learned later not to do so, and accepted them as his acolytes. The fact is, Aang as being very childish and not a very good Air Nomad or Avatar with the way he treated them at first with the whole tattoo thing. He should have been happy they wanted to carry on the traditions, he should have tried to do it a far more calm fashion, not let his own personal feelings get in the way.

Also maybe some Airbenders will want to stay at the Air Temples, and Tenzin won't stop them. But Tenzin did say they were originally NOMADS. Meaning it's a greater and older tradition to travel the world, not stay in one place. So the purists who don't travel are actually WRONG.
