Issac Devereux
Isaac walked away form the others in the area in front of the other cabins. He walked away hopefully unnoticed, he needed time to think. Allot had happened around him today and he needed to do some thought and emotional organisation. The time between now and the party served as this time.
As he turned the corner he heard something that had interested him, an alternative to mingling with everyone at a party. Though he was not sure if the invitation to Cabin A involved him as well he would make an appearance there. It had been the Camp councillor Nathan Explosion who had said the invitation to the others. And while his mind was on the councillor he smiled for a moment, This had to be a fake name at least the explosion part.
As he thought about this he found himself a few steps away from Cabin H, his Cabin. His legs had taken him there as if on autopilot. But he looked around himself, he looked around the other identical cabins, all made from the same wood now covered in moss and lichen. He looked to where the tree line creped closer to the Cabins with the extended growth of their branches and leaves. With each passing moment they grew slightly more eerie as the light of the day faded slowly.
Walking to his cabin door and opening it, he stepped inside for the first time. It was already very dark in the cabin, Shadows lingered everywhere they could growing stronger with the passing of the day. He walked in to a common room of sorts, a common room built for four people. There was a sofa a couple of arm chairs and a book case filled with popular books, that had been left by previous tenants, He knew this because there was not one single completed set of books there, to be honest there were not that many books, And he was disgusted to see a twilight book there.
The floor had been cleaned recently, well the whole place had as there was not a single speck of dust anywhere. Off to one side of the room he saw a slightly worn door handle set in to a slightly battered door, containing the names scratched in to the wood of previous people who had stayed here. It made the place seem like home, or at least it would if Isaac could be happy in this moment of time.
He walked to the door and turned the handle, pushing at the same time to find the room devoid of any life, not even a small spider near a window. He did however find that all of his things now resided on his bed still packed. So he unpacked everything he could in his meagre storage space. Everything else stayed in its case and was slotted under the bed.
Isaac hoped that he would not end up sharing a room this year. Though he did not sleep a bedroom was a good time to reflect and plan ahead, and meditate for a short to long time. If he had a room mate then they could interrupt him, never a good idea if you want not to be hit.
With all of his things unpacked he took a set of new clothes and laid them on the bed. He also took out a clean rod towel, ready for a shower. After he got his thing ready to go in to the shower and get clean, he took off his clothes and wrapped the red towel around himself.
His discarded clothes lay on his bed next to his clean ones ready to be put away. He then walked out of the small room and went to another door near to the kitchen part of the living room. He walked in to a spotless bathroom. It was faultless with the exception that it was small. He turned a faucet and the shower that was attached to the wall over a bath tub spilled forth cold water.
While he waited for the hot water to come he took off his towel and began to clean his teeth. He did these thing methodically and without thought. Nothing was in his mind yet.
Finally steam started to fill the bathroom and fog the mirror that Isaac was looking in. He turned and got in to the tub and stepped under the hot spray of water that was the shower. It was then, that he let himself think about the day and decide how to actually feel about things. So many experiences warranted thought.
He was taught as a child that Vampires should be the rightful rulers of the united races, never stopping to consider that they could all lead together. And it was with these kinds of teaching that he was brought up. Taught to hate the wolves, and distrust the daemons and avoid Fay and the Angels. Taught that only vampire rule could bring true lasing piece among the races.
However the things he has seen this year and the previous years he had been here had began to change him, and his mind set. Especially the meeting with Bane the woof. Sure there had been wolves at the camp before but none had been very talkative or even accepting. But Bane though, perhaps had his own thoughts of revulsion for the vampires, did not act on them.
Then there was the fact that he had seen the other races mixing together with so much ease. Something Isaac had never managed to do. He was in fact fearful he would not get accepted they way the other accepted each other. And he knew this. Isaac was a smart man he was not about to be fooled by his own thoughts and emotions. One could only act for the greater good with no emotion and that was how Isaac intended to do things.
He had never had time for emotion in the past why should he now. His family had been wrong and had betrayed him, in teaching him hateful and evil things. He saw now that for peace to come they would have to each take piece of the responsibility as a race and take accountability for what their race would do.
He had spent some time in here now and had not even cleaned himself, and he had yet to even think about the titan that had attacked near the lake this afternoon. A strange time to mount an attack. In the middle of the night would have been better with around three out of five races would be useless or tired. And even then some of the other two races would have been tired from a long day of travel.
There was more to this and he knew it, He knew he had to do some digging, but he did not know where to start, he had no leads and did not eve see it leave. All he had was an impression of a direction. Not even that just an instinct.
He would have to do some reading up on anything that could even look like that. And with that thought all of what he saw played back to him in his mind as if it were a recorded video with perfect clarity.
After another short time of thinking about this he began to finally clean himself. After another short time he emerged from the bathroom wet and nearly naked, but entirely clean. He headed to his bedroom and let his red towel fall to the floor.
Being a vampire he could not really feel the cold of the air, it was just normal air to him. But none the less he got dressed with haste. When he finished he was wearing a pure white long sleeve shirt with cuff-links in the shape of an ace of spades. Over his shirt he wore a black waste coat with a pocket watch chain dangling from one pocket, and with shiny metal buttons that reflected the world around him.
He also wore black trousers to which his shirt was neatly tucked in, and black shoes and socks. His shoes were not extremely showy, not in the least, Isaac was a strong believer that shoes needed to be practical so he wore the cleaned up version of the shoes he had been wearing earlier, Running boots.
Over his body he wore a long black canvas coat cut to shape and size just for him. Usually this kind of smart coat would be made out of a thicker material but Isaac was a vampire and only needed the coat for its pockets and to look acceptable. Not to mention he could use it to aid his hiding in the night.
Once dressed he was ready to go, He gathered everything he needed, cigarettes lighter and all sorts of concealed things in his coat. It was not wise to be unarmed in times were a titan like creature could get in to the camp with relative ease.
Once all of his things were gathered he made his way to the front door and lit up a cigarette, inhaling the smoke as deep as it would go. It was another fresh night and Isaac felt better about himself and the people around him. He decided he would head to Cabin A.
OOC: Hope everything is OK with this post i have adhered to the cabin rules i think. i know its only me here so i dont mind if you read or not but its just so that people can see they way he thinks and acts. If you read you will better know the Isaac you see.
