History: His parents had died of illness, something that could not be cured. So he was mostly raised by his brother, who became a Diplomat (and a Representative for the country). From the bottom, he had to be physically in shape and became the top of his class...combat class anyways. When it came to creative things like drawing a map, plans, and writing stories he was terrible at it (While his brother was excellent on it).

So when he was 18, he joined the army and participated at the war between them and Terrae...only one to survive. And since he had showed much courage and determination..he became the general. And to this day, he trains his men to be prepared for an attack if it comes to that. Kaminari has doubts since fighting was not the answer, but Otto believes Terrae will make a comeback and need to be prepared.

Personality:

Pros:
responsible - He is willing to take responsibility with his actions and mistakes. It has people look up to him because he is willing to fix mistakes and face the consequence of actions.

ambitious - He does not slouch around. He keeps on fighting until he gets what he wants. His determination is one not to miss

resourceful - He has the ability to find quick and clever ways to overcome difficulties.

loyal - Friend or loved one, he is there when you need it. He never plans on cheating to get what he wants


Cons:
dictatorial - He shows a tendency to tell people what to do in an autocratic, and demanding way.

inhibited - He is unable to act in a relaxed and natural way because of self-consciousness or mental restraint.

distrusting - It takes a long time to put his trust in someone. It will take a lot of time but once you get his trust, it is unconditional and unbreakable...unless you mess with him...his trust is fragile so if broken...your never getting it again

unimaginative - He is not very creative...often having a hard time coming up with plans. He would need help when it comes to creativity.

History: She was born to a Water-element Mother and a Wind-element Father. She was raised by a loving, caring Father who taught her to be self-efficient and not to depend on men in general. His explanation early in her life was that he was afraid a man might hurt her and get her killed (like her mother), but then it was because she was Marked and in Ventus....it was an excuse to kill her to a royal. For that she always made sure her back was covered. She learned how to paint and write, as to help her be self-efficient like her Father asked her too.

She also learned the trade, owning a shop someday and the ways to live. But since she was raised by her Father, and was more focused on him she got socially-awkward and tends to avoid situations like these except it's to greet customers into the shop.

Personality:
Pros:
- Loyalty (Friends, Family, Lover...she will be right behind you whenever you need her. Sometimes it can be a shoulder to cry on or to fight for you; she is always willing to be by your side.)

- Dependable (She will help get things done, always asking if someone needs assistance. She does not hesitate to help, even if it's a bit too hard on her.)

- Caring (She believes that if she cares, someone will care too. She cares for someone who has a less advantage for her, sometimes putting others above herself sometimes)

- Adaptable (She can adapt to situations, even if she disagrees. As long as there is a very good reason, she can adapt...although it'll take some time to adjust)


Cons:
- Moody (She has different emotions, sometimes can be happy...then the next she is crying. It can change easily...it gets worse only once per month)

- Clingy (With her Father, she wants to stay with them at all times. She works hard to not get like that. She always buy gifts for people she cares about, and at least says love you twice a day)

- Self-pitying (She doesn't know she does it, but sometimes she does the 'poor me' attitude, even her Dad sometimes calls her on that. It is an unfortunate con to her personality)

- Oversensitive (Another con to her personality, she gets so sensitive that if you yell or scream at her...she resorts to crying and running off...or just silence with her body shaking violently. It might be a consequence of her Father coddling her and always apologizing for yelling and making her cry)

- Self-absorbed (It barely shows, but when it does...it can annoy some people. Not knowing it, she always says how she is good at it or bad at it...mostly on stuff she is bad at.)

Additional Information: She is growing tired of hiding her 'marked' tattoo. She wants to belong to everyone and knows if they find out, she will get killed. Every few nights, she gets nightmare flashes of people going after her and trying to kill her because of a mark. She is an expert in painting (portraits and landscapes)

History: Born in an orphanage in Nocte, she did not know much about her heritage until she turned 13. She was able to be told by a nice Nun who had a pendant of two people that were her parents. The Nun explained that Connie was a little baby and was held by a woman who was the one in her pendant, obviously the mother. The mother was of Nocte region and pleaded to take care of her until she could come back.

It has been 16 years and the woman has not returned. Connie joined the rebellion because she, was bullied by her mark and had gotten to fights to the point where she had burned some people. Her anger had become a bit more short-fused than usually and she knew her anger has to be placed by ignorance toward her kind. So now she is in the rebellion, wanting to change the world for the better...even if it is a little.

Personality:
Pros:
- Witty (quick and inventive verbal humor)

- Clever (quick to understand, learn, and devise or apply ideas; intelligent.)

- Humanitarian (a person who seeks to promote human welfare. Hence she is more sympathetic to the marked people and helps the Rebellion)

- Inventive (has the ability to create or design new things or to think originally)

- Original (an eccentric or unusual person)


Cons:
- Stubborn (She shows dogged determination not to change her attitude or position on something, especially in spite of good arguments or reasons to do so)

- Unemotional (A little bit reserved, learned for being Marked)

- Sarcastic (She is known to mock people sometimes when mad)

- Aloof (not friendly or forthcoming; cool and distant; showing disinterest)

History: Once upon a time, he was a simple peasant boy of Ventus living a normal life full of calm and serenity with his family. He did not know his life would spiral when he turned 20. He went to a river one day that separated Ventus with Aqua. Stopping there to get a drink, he sees a woman on the opposite side of the water. He was confused and at first showed disgust toward the woman as she was not of his element. So often he stayed far away from the woman.....until he saw bruises.

He started to see her face was getting bruised up and also seem to grow weak day by day. He grew concerned so he then grew curious. As the days went by, he was starting to realize he might be witnessing the victim of abuse. So he decided to confront the problem, so one day he is at the river as usual...soon seeing that the woman was growing weak and was even crying. His face softened as he knew right away, he was now sure he needed to follow. So when she left he followed, making a risk of being caught. He followed in a good distance seeing she did not live far from the river. He soon realizes the woman was in a forced marriage. And the husband was very abusive. It got to the point where Edelmar could not take it....when the guy held out a knife he came in and sliced the man in half with his wind power. Not letting her talk, he got her out of there and got her to the other side.

He explains that he had been noticing her bruises and knew something had to be done. He knew he was going to be in trouble for it, but would regret it if she got killed. The woman, named Amelia, knew she had to do something so while Edelmar had to go home...she explained to him the next day they met that she cooked his body, getting rid of the head, hands, and feet inside a bag and dumped it into a lake. She cooked the edible parts and sold it to people as 'meat pies'. When asked where her husband was, she explained he got drunk and ran off...not to be seen again. And since they cannot find the body, there was no investigation.

Edelmar and Amelia met everyday by the lake, eventually falling in love. They have met every night until age 23 where Edelmar proposed to her and even had a private wedding with her. After many intimate moments in a private cave with the waterfall behind them, Amelia told him that she was pregnant. Edelmar has mixed emotions: one, the child will be marked...someone that is not approved in his kingdom....but is in Amelia's home. Edelmar told her that the child will be safe with her and they can meet everyday. Amelia agreed and knew it was best for her, and to get Edelmar a citizenship with her. It seemed to go on perfectly.

Until Amelia died 2 years later after the birth.

Amelia had gotten killed from the previous abusive husband's brother. He was aware she probably killed him, leaving the baby behind. Heartbroken and shocked, he found the brother and killed him, dumping the body at the mountain where he could not be found. Now alone with the child, Edelmar knew he could not keep her, but when that little girl called him 'Daddy'.......she won his heart and he kept her. But with his kingdom killing off 'Marked' people, he had to hide her..especially since her mark is all over her back...a terrible place for it to be. He named her Shilga and taught her at a young age that her mark was not to be seen by terrible people, as someday she can be free. It has been 14 years since his wife's death and now he raises his daughter to be conservative and hard to get for guys especially in Ventus......because the royals will surely kill her....and Edelmar would be the one killed first before they put their hands on her.

Personality:
Pros:

Optimistic
Energetic and enthusiastic, he sees the glass half full. His optimism helps him carry on even in the most adverse situations. Especially for his daughter

Straightforward
Edelmar will call someone out if they did a wrong, so someone will know when he says something , he means it. His honest comments, however, may be at times too harsh to handle for some people, especially his daughter. He learns to control that trait when trying to teach his daughter harsh lessons

Intellectual
He is a bright and intellectual person, who are interested in a wide variety of subjects and can be impressive conversationalists.

Philosophical
A philosophical and religious individuals with a strong sense of mortality and ethics. He loves to share views on matters, such as the higher power and religious beliefs.

Generous
A large-hearted people. He loves to help others reach their goals, find a way out of problems and lead a good life. His daughter gets that trait from him

Adventurous
Adventurous that he his, always willing to take risks and keep the excitement levels in someone's life. His daughter also has this trait from him

- His Daughter's Mark (Since she is marked, he has to be extra careful to hide her back...he makes sure she does not have any boyfriend or someone alone with her because of her mark. He is extremely fearful if someone wants to kill her)

Additional Information: Edelmar is a Merchant; he creates things like earrings and jewelry while he always sells books that he gets from trading with other people.
