Now that we've got quite a few Gems in the roster I thought it would be a good time to start this discussion.
Character meetings prior to the story, surely some of the Gemstones have run into each other whether they knew who they were meeting or not. Lets touch base and figure out who knows who!
Keep in mind not everyone has to know each other already, not everyone even has to be awakened yet. Our princess is only 9! lol! It's completely up to you what you want to do with your character ^.^
I'm quite open to having Peri know others as well, let me know if you've got an idea!
What I know so far...
Evelyn (Sailor Peridot) was the first to awaken as a senshi (due to her slow aging it was well before the others) along the lines she met Ruby (Sailor Ruby) and helped her awaken, at the time Ruby wasn't interested in being a team so the two parted ways for now but Evelyn kept tabs on her.
Ruby eventually meets Mimi (Sailor Citrine) and is present at her awakening, prompting her to take her in.

So the way I see it for Garnet, there are two options:
1.) She was found early. Maybe, like Ruby, Dot has been keeping tabs on her because of her physical skills. Ai is fairly infamous because of her aggressive style as an athletic powerhouse for her school.
This gives us an opportunity for others to be kind of eye-rolly about her less-than-congenial attitude - because they'd be used to it - rather than for her to just seem like an a** right off the bat since she doesn't play well with others.
2.) She's found late, very late. She's the youngest of the group, so maybe they weren't expecting her to be the one? Anyway, the same plotline could be applied to this option as the first one. Everyone was just kinda watching her to figure out if she belonged and that's why it took so long. Her notoriety as an athlete is what drew their attention to her as a possible candidate.
Personally, I'm good with either of these options. Ya'll can pick what you like best :3

I came up with a storyline...but after reading everyone elses bio, the one I made was too close to Mimi's. So I need to re-write the whole thing pretty much ;n; I'd like for one of the sailors to have discovered her though, so whomever would like to help me with that, it would be great!

I believe Cirra and I agreed that ours knew each other, but I'm not sure in what way they did know each other.
As for Morganite and everyone else.. I think she doesn't know ruby and the others but she knows of Peridot. I think because of her secondary powers, it makes her quite distant to most others. So I figured she'd rarely show up unless it's mandatory.
That said, whether others know of her or not is up for grabs but I don't think (as of right now) that anyone knows her personally. Only professionally at most.

I just don't see them being, like, "friends" because they were probably in totally different social circles. Sid was all into her athletics club stuff and I don't imagine Caesi was entirely too social in school, considering. XD
Er, I don't know if you've had Caesi graduate or not. Sid has.

I have NO IDEA where to go with Sid when it comes to discovering her powers. Like, at all. I've thought and thought and thought about it, and I can't come up with anything. As far as her background goes, I've figured that she's graduated highschool and lives with her single dad and has a job to help support the both of them and all that jazz. Pretty normal, average chick so I don't see her being put into any "crazy" situations. She's a waitress, so I've entertained the idea of a robbery at her workplace triggering her awakening, but idk. It's just so blasé.

Most likely graduated. So I'd say she's seen Sid when Sid was a freshman but she was a senior already out the door. (-Possibly held back a year due to her frequent absences and such.- )

I noticed nobody has a cat guardian.

I know that our characters are going to be long lost twins but would Althea recognize Mimi upon seeing her? It's been awhile, and they've both grown into adulthood, but maybe her twin sense gets a tingling?

Dazzling Citrine I know that our characters are going to be long lost twins but would Althea recognize Mimi upon seeing her? It's been awhile, and they've both grown into adulthood, but maybe her twin sense gets a tingling? That's kind of what I'm thinking. I'm imagining her following Mimi for a time and just watching before approaching her. I think Althea would want to be sure first, and would maybe notice some behaviors or quirks that she recognizes from long ago.
