If there is an art committee set up, I'm not finding it, and wanted to give them my off-Gaia info since I'm not really on anymore but am open to doing graphics/art for people. o3o Because I love this event even if Gaia and I don't get on too well anymore.

If anyone (even non-art-committee people) wants art or graphics from me, shoot me a PM or quote me here. I'll give you my off-Gaia info so we can talk there.

Um, I'll check back here sometime...soon...ish...if I remember. Like I said, I'm not really on anymore.

I am on recolor.me with the same username (Symbolon) and I check up there regularly, so if you poke me there chances are I'll see it sooner than a poke here.



If you want samples then I've got an entire thread of graphics samples here and I did these pretties for my room's art during the 12th AURB:



I put my guideline thingies for graphics in the thread, but I'm putting my artness guidelines here.

No anthro. I just can't do it. I tried my hand at it (with Leo) and failed miserably. I can put ears and a tail on, but nothing beyond that. Also I can't draw animals. Because human anatomy is hard enough without throwing the rest of the animal kingdom in.

I can probably add in some shading, given enough time. It'll be an experimentation on my part, but I'm willing to give it a shot in a couple different styles (likely cell shading and more traditional shading, for starters) so no promises on how great the outcome will be. ^^;

And speaking of time- I need lots of it. I am a slow drawer with a life and many distractions. Any art requests need to be given AT LEAST a month in advance. I really can't stress this enough. If you ask for art with less than a month of time left, I suggest finding some backup art, too. Because I can't guarantee promptness.

If asked, I can try my hand at fullbody, waist-up, bust-up, etc, but my default output is headshots.

No chibi stuff. Can't do it. Sorry.

Okiepokie. Basically, my intention is to post my sample stuff in the art committee subforum wherever it is you choose to have people advertise their stuff with a note that to contact me, the art committee head will need to give them my contact information. Which means I'd be giving the art committee heads my contact information privately so they can give it to those who ask.

(I hope I explained that understandably.)

So my point is...despite you and Cadenza having your own room covered, if you end up heading the art committee I'll be sending my info your way anyhow?

I'm gonna stop cuz I'm confusing myself now. ^^;



xD Of course I did it's two-thirds of my up-to-date art style. I have older samples but I dun draw like them anymore so there's no point in sharing them.

And yuppers I sure can. Obviously I don't expect you to have tekteks yet but all I can really do until I have references to work from is practice mermaid tails. rofl That said, if you have a particular tail in mind before you have a full tektek, telling me which it is (modus operandi? sunset siren? reve rouille? reve marin? gogh reed? etc.) will help me to practice the right style of tail in the meantime.

Okieday! Keep in mind that both have like...six or seven other color schemes that you can probably use (Sunset Siren, Twilight Siren, Gloomy Siren, Isolated Siren, Morning Siren, and Lorelei's Call OR Silvery Sea Princess, Emerald Sea Princess, Ruby Sea Princess, Amethyst Sea Princess, Sapphire Sea Princess, Coral Sea Princess, and Golden Sea Princess). So long as I'm just sketching, color doesn't matter to me but I figured I'd make sure you knew about the variations. Also this is just personal preference but the Siren series looks easier to draw because the simplicity of the Sea Princess series requires really precise line placement and shape to get the proper form across, whereas the Siren ones have extra fins that help viewers understand how the tail is angled and whatnot. In other news, I'm a lazy butt who never actually got around to doing the item giveaway of my inventory I had planned so I still have the ability to help you out with getting items and whatnot.

I ended up dropping off Gaia's map BEFORE I got around to organizing it. //shot

I '@'ed (mentioned) you over to a thread we can post in because PMs on recolor.me have a super short character limit and no method of really saving PMs. If you look at the sidebar thingy that should be on every page then the 'Mentions' list item should be highlighted in yellow. If you click that there should be a list-looking table thing that says 'Posts Mentioning You' at the top and then three columns, Time Poster and Message, and under Message one of the rows should have clickable text that reads something like 'SUP (you might have to add me as a friend to post here idk but to do so just click my avi and then the icon of two people and a green plus in the box that pops up)' but probably shorter and that'll take you to the thread.
