Personality: Olivia is a calm and quiet person. She has a difficult time opening up and actually conversing with others because of her initial shyness, unless of course the topic is pokemon. But once you get to know her she can be quite friendly. She sometimes lets her emotions get the best of her in situations she should keep her cool which many people wouldn't expect due to her calm nature. She is young and ambitious, and nothing will stop her from becoming a gym leader.
Bio: Olivia was born and raised in Mistralton City on October 30th. She was an only child raised by a single parent, her mother Catherine. Because her mother was a single parent, she had to work long hours at the airport to provide for them. So Olivia at a young age learned to take care of herself out of necessity. She would wake up everyday and prepare her food, clean, exercise, do laundry, etc etc. She would even cook for her mother sometimes to allow her to sleep in. It wasn't viewed as a burden though, she appreciated her mother and everything she did for her. But the circumstance made for a unique childhood, and was huge in structuring the person that she is today.
But, this is not how she ended up where she is today. Though it was the start. When Olivia was just a child her mother came home early from work on Olivia's birthday and saw something so strange it took her breathe away. She heard her daughter laughing in her room, and opened the door to peak inside to see what she was doing. As she cracked the door she was able to see Olivia as she sat in front of her tiny table that she would play "tea party" on when they had free time. She thought it peculiar that she was having a tea party by herself, so she opened the door her mouth ajar ready to greet her daughter but before the words had the chance to escape her lips, she saw something unexpected. Olivia actually had two guests. A shuppet, and a phantump. She froze a the sight of the ghost pokemon and watched them for a moment. The three sat in silence and would occasionally laugh and giggle, each drinking from an empty cup of tea that was floating in front of their faces along with the rest of the tea set, which was floating above the table. She saw that the ghost pokemon were harmless, and just keeping Olivia company. Catherine opened the door and stepped through, and as she did the ghost pokemon vanished, their cups falling to the ground bouncing off of the carpet. Olivia turned her head shocked that her new friends had disappeared and looked over to her mother. To this day her mother claims the last tea cup and tea set was still floating in front of Olivia even though the ghost pokemon had left. It wasn't the last odd occurrence that she would see with supernatural or unexplainable things involving her daughter. Though, as Olivia grew older, the ghosts and unexplainable stories grew fewer and fewer. Catherine knew there was something different about Olivia, and she wanted her daughter to find herself. Living this routine life, and not being a kid was taking a toll. Even if Olivia didn't realize it. So Catherine worked hard and saved money. Finally on Olivia's 14th birthday she was able to pay one of the pilots to bring Olivia along with him on one of his cargo runs. She knew Olivia wanted to be a gym leader, but if she stayed in Mistralton City, she would never leave. So she told Olivia about the trip, and where she was heading. She had made arrangements for Olivia to head to Saffron City and study Under the Mind Gem. Olivia was excited and scared to go, but she saw the opportunity to become a pokemon trainer, and live her dream. So she left the comfort of her home and got on the plane heading to Saffron City.
Upon arrival to Saffron City, she was welcomed in to the Mind Gem Gym. She was given her first pokemon, Espurr. Her journey now begins, as she trains and learns hard as an aspiring trainer with the ambition to become a gym leader, and unlock her hidden power with the help of her pokemon, and the Mind Gem.
