Averill dropped past the bullitein board, as he generally did when he was bored (or lost) and read one of the new notices.
"Pretty slow way to get a hot drink, if you ask me." He commented to himself, but shrugged and headed off towards the kitchen.

He arrived back a little while later with a crudely made toy boat (a tin can, a twig and a scrap of cloth), a dodgy looking fake flower (probably made from the trash he picked up while walking around the courtyard) and a cup of hot black coffee.
He tucked two sugars into the boat, just in case she liked her coffee sweeter.

I wonder if all these fetch quests are going to get me a reputation as a teachers pet... He considered while he put the items down. Ah well. I'm being helpful! And helping out my house. He self justified it, but still felt a little worried.

Averill nodded and gave the teacher a small smile, wandering off.
When he was down the other end of the hallway, he suddenly frowned.
five for the boat, one for flower and one for coffee.... That's seven, not six!
He turned, wondering if he should go ask her why he didnt get as many points as she promised, but gave up after taking two steps.
"She probably had a reason..." He mumbled to himself, and headed back to the dorms, wondering what he'd done wrong.
