This is how the story goes...
Long ago, a great battle was fought between the goddess Hylia and the demon king Demise. Though she was able to seal away the evil king, she sacrificed her immortal form to do so. She sent a race of people, that would one day become known as Hylians, into the sky on floating islands and sealed the surface world away in a thick cloud that prevented them from returning to a now scared land. However, her seal on Demise would not last forever. And so, she cast her spirit into mortal form to be reincarnated every hundred years until her chosen hero was born. Her mortal name was Zelda, and this is her legend.
Just over a hundred years ago, Zelda and her hero, Link, fought the forces of Demise and won. But victory was bittersweet as, with his last breath, Demise swore he would return as an incarnation of evil and hatred in an endless cycle, hunting the bloodline of the goddess and the spirit of her hero. To ensure that Demise would not prevail, she blessed Link to be reincarnated so that he would always be able to protect the bloodline of Zelda and fight off the evil of Demise. For the last hundred years, the people that once lived in the sky now lives on the surface. But all is not as it should. The land is still scared by Demise’s evil and constantly risks the safety of the Hylians. Though Hylia has been born again, her powers are no longer strong enough to repair the land but, one hope remains. During her fight with Demise, Hylia sealed her three daughters away under the protection of three races that were loyal to her. Only with her remaining power, can the seals be broken and her daughters awoken. Even though Zelda has no memory of her past life, she receives dreams from Hylia telling her of this one hope.
“To save your people you must travel to the Forgotten Forest in the east, the Frozen Lake in the west, and the Mountain of Fire to the north. Seek out my temples there and awaken my daughters Din, Nayru and Farore. They will heal the land and give your people a future. Within the nearby tribe of Sheika, seek out a young man of your own people who has been adopted and trained by them. There you will also meet three of my followers. The ageless child of the forest, a man of stone from the mountain, and a maiden born unto the waters. These four will aid and guide you through your journey. Be warned, a great evil will soon come to corrupt your people and destroy all that they have striven to build. But fear not, for my hero will be with you and fight off the darkness that seeks to destroy this world.”
Oh heroes chosen by the goddess. Prepare as you venture forth to reshape the world and cast the darkness from the light.

BASICS You know the drill, follow the Gaia TOS! Follow our rules too, meaning me and Donie120. If we add moderators, please respect their authority as well.
PROFILES Reserve - fill out the reserve's template and PM them to Donie120. Put the name of the race you wish to roleplay as in the title of the PM. The image size should be 300 x 100.
Profile - after you have been accepted, you can then start the profile. Create a thread so you can edit your profile whenever you want. Don't forget to share with us the link!
POSTING Literacy level - let's just label this as semi-lit +. Two to three solid paragraphs is a great start. We understand writers block, but one liners are the worst! Just give us something to respond to and we are all good.
Grammar and punctuation - we understand a few mistakes. As long as we can still understand each other, we are fine. Write in third person and no text talk, write the whole word! Use " " for talking, ' ' for thinking and (( )) for ooc.
Posts - at least have a picture and name of your character. If you can add a link to your profile thread that will be great! No bright colors and no pictures stretching the page either. As for frequency, please just post as much as you can! At least once a week, just don't leave other people hanging.
RESPECT Respect - Don't ignore other roleplayers! Include them. This is a small group rp so I don't think it's going to be a problem. Don't go around controlling other people's characters, ask first.
No god-modding - there are going to be lots of battles, no character is perfect. You are going to get hit from time to time, other times you will simply lose. If you are battling against a roleplayer, don't just assume your hit will land. Let your character be hit every now and then. Is boring if no one does.
OTHER Dice - roll the dice system coming soon...
Plot - it's fun and you know it! Plotting with others is encouraged. You can pre-plan relationships or start with established relationships. We love new ideas and we are open to any kind of suggestion.
If you're going to be gone for an extended period, just let us know. Don't join and then leave...
