Name: Kria (Screee-yah)
Age: 10
Aura: Indigo (like the night sky), Low frequency
Species: Bald Eagle - Wild
Powers: Telepathy (may develop a secondary power)
Owner: Wild/Belongs to facility/ Lake resident

Appearance: A female bald eagle, larger than any males in the area. White feathers cover the head, brown the body. The feet have no feathers, and they are a solid yellow, same as the beak. Large talons could be dangerous and cause real damage.

Personality: Scornful of humans, yet terribly curious about them, Kria cannot make sense of the way they think. Really, what is this 'cooking' thing they do to perfectly good fish? She can often be seen when not hunting for prey(fish or otherwise) in the treetops or even perched on a building in the camp or school grounds observing and trying to get a read on humans' thoughts. Being wild, her way of thinking is often blunt, focusing on food and survival. Her thoughts often center around this. Bleeding hearts who think her 'tame' because of the proximity she keeps to humans might be startled should the come across her hunting. Kria's strategy has come to involve broadcasting thoughts of fear, being hunted, danger, and panic at her intended prey, fish or rodent, in an attempt to flood them with input. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't if the prey has developed it's own defenses. She may also seek out the thoughts of other creatures to find hiding prey.

Important: In case of contact with a human, keep in mind that Kria has the primitive thought patter of a wild animal. She will have skimmed a handful of words and meanings she can comprehend from unguarded minds in the camp, like object names, but other things are not going to register, at all. I was intending for her intelligence to gradually increase with time and rp, but probably never hit human levels. She'd a bird and a predator after all.

Ex. Concepts Alien to Kria: Grateful, Thank you, Hi/hello, Help, Come, Hate, Sympathy, Patience, Wait, Sing, Pet(animal pet), Hold Back, Refrigerator (Probably hasn't seen or picked up on, people don't thing 'this is a refrigerator' outdoors)

EX. Concepts Familiar to Kria: Like, Not Like, Flee, Danger, Hurt, Affirmative, Negative, Follow (like Stalk), Behind, Go, Stop, Happy (well), Unhappy (Bad/Not Well), Curiosity, Prey, Not Prey, Book (Could have seen and picked up the item name)

History: Kria was born of a nesting pair of eagles released into the area by wildlife rehabilitators in the efforts to replenish the wild population of eagles. As she grew feeding almost entirely on the fish of the lake, and wildlife in the area, the levels of effect from psitanium deposits magnified in a way similar to how heavy metals accumulate in more concentrated amounts in apex predators. At some point (Kria has no concept of time, and the idea of being self-aware had to be developed) Kria began to exhibit telepathy, finding small rodents in hiding sensing their thoughts (Honestly, she more thought she heard their squeaks, and prey stupid enough to be noisy is food). She's grown enough in it to recognize humans as radically different from her, or the fish, or the mice and squirrels and rabbits, and be curious. She has no way of knowing this is weird or unusual, to her it's just like the calls birds and creatures use to communicate.

Ah I love eagles, and someone else for Zajac to be scared of.
I see him seeing her once and always being on the lookout to make sure
she doesn't swoop down and get him xD

I was wondering if she steals fish or other food from the campers/staff?
Or if someone left out fish or something would she go and eat it?
Why is she scornful of humans? Has one ever tried to trap her or anything
like that? How does she feel towards other birds, friend or foe? Also
what about the other animals that aren't prey (ex. bears) that are around
the camp?

She has learned what a 'sandwich bag' is and that if often contains tasty lunchmeat under weird-nasty plastic and will go after it if it's left out. However, she's not starving with that lake around, so she isn't going to outright attack something as large as a human kid for their sandwich. leave it unattended for more than a couple minutes though, and she may be tempted.

I wasn't quite sure how to word her attitude towards humans. I say she is scornful, she thinks some of the things they do are silly, because eagles don't do that. It feels unnecessary, stupid. An example would be cooking fish. She asks "Why? There is no need, that's stupid." Another thing would be if a kid is about to wet their pants/bed (you know how younger campers might be if they forgot to go pee), and thinking about it (because who doesn't think about the horror of the pee-stain), she would pick up on it and be confounded. Wild creatures go about anywhere. She lets out her poop whenever she feels like it. To her the thought of 'holding it' for a 'bathroom' (whatever a bathroom is) seems stupid, and makes no sense.
Which end up in her being curious because humans make no sense, and scornful because they do stupid needless things. (More examples would be washing hands before eating (but not bathing birds do and enjoy bathing), cleaning the tasty guts from a fish, brushing teeth, worrying about beign late (she has no concept of time, time is irrelevant to animals beyond night and day, barring those who instinctively know seasons for hibernation, then it's just he coming cold)
Does that make sense? I am not sure how to write it out well.

For other birds there is no friend. A male eagle may be a potential mate. A female eagle better keep to her own territory. A smaller bird might be prey, and larger birds like a Canadian goose might be hard-to-catch prey that is avoided. Crows might be loud and tasty, seagulls might be annoying, but she doesn't have the concept of friendship. Foe exists, but I can't really think of birds that would be foes, or enemies. Other animals are harmless, not prey, prey, or dangerous(she's heard the word enemy before, but it was used with the emotion hate, not fear or danger, so she hasn't quite got that down yet). Bears would be 'danger, keep away', for their size. Would are the same but she would be less tentative about attacking one than a bear is she was defending something (There is no reason she would take one on now, she'd have to learn about friends first).

Does all that make sense? So a primitive wild-animal mindset that is ripe to learn/change/evolve as her power evolves, and she observes humans. As it is, I am trying very much to express that Kria is not a human, she does not think like a human, but she could come to think in a more human-like manner as she interacts with them.

Has she ever experienced other animals with pschic powers? Like a rodent or another bird that she tried to eat? What does she feel about scavenging? Is she pickier than other eagles and prefers freshly killed prey?

Is there an interesting physical characteristics that separates her from other eagles?

I'm certain she has with the things running about in the woods. It's probably more of a normal occurence so she doesn't think anything of it, since it sounds like a good number of creatures in the area pick up some sort of ability. Yes she would scavenge, and again not think much of it. For my peace of mind, she'll be picky about scavenging from things that are... pretty rotten. I couldn't stomach rping the idea so she'll probably not scavenge from things over a week old. On the other hand she has figured out that sandwich bags hold tasty things. Plastic may be unhealthy and taste nasty, but the sandwiches inside are delicious. I wouldn't leave your lunch unattended.

I'm going to say no, I hadn't planned on any special characteristics. I really couldn't think of any unless I made her like, blind in one eye or missing a talon or something, which I wasn't quite fond of.
