Mmmn... h'llo... y'can call me Professor Bellis. Sorry, I ain't had my coffee yet. Jus' lemme light up a cig and... hhhhh... there we go.
So. Name's Professor Bellis. I don't care what you call me as long as you aren't disrespectful. Welcome to Channeling, kids.
Whatcha gonna learn? Simply put, I'm gonna teach you how channeling works, and then by the end of your first year you're gonna pick your channeler. Wizards don't mix around channelers, since it's nearly impossible to learn a second once you've learned one, so make sure it's a good one. It can be jewelry, a weapon (I prefer it not be that, I'd get into trouble with Louie), a stone, a precious jewel... anything. Your imagination is limitless, kids. Remember that.
Anyway, once you've picked your channeler, second year we're gonna focus on you adapting to that channeler. Channeling through different things has different effects. If you pick a versatile channeler (through precious stones, for instance) then you can multiply your abilities tenfold. But you don't need a versatile channeler if you're just planning to be a, I 'unno, a chemist. So think on that carefully.
Now listen carefully. If you want to get into the enhancer course, you'd better do well in this class or I can't recommend you. I like you kids, I really do, but I can't recommend you if you aren't good at it. So do well, and work hard. There won't be much homework in this class, really. I never really liked homework. It was boring.
Oh, my outfit? It ain't your business.
That's the gist of it. End of first year you pick your channeler (you can stick with a wand, no shame in that) and the rest of the years you focus on mastering your channeler, if you stick with me of course. Simple as that.
I'll see you around, kids.
