Welcome to Elements. I am Professor Brighton, and I will be teaching you the most important subject at the Academy.
Now, I know what you're thinking. Every teacher is going to be saying this. But I do mean it, this really is the most important subject. Depending on what you choose, the element you wield can either make you or break you.
On to class details. First years will primarily be learning the ins and outs of every aspect, element, fundament, and affinity. You will choose your aspect at the end of first year and begin learning to wield it in second. By graduation, you will by no means have mastered your aspect, but you should have a good enough grasp on it to use in everyday life.
First years will also consult Kerrigan Swiftless's Theory of Elemental Magick for information on all of the above terms.
There will be little homework in this class - a fact I am sure you're relieved to hear. The only homework there will be is demonstrative; in other words, showing me what you've learned over the past week or month, whichever I'm in the mood for. Do not, however, think that just because this class has little work that it is easy.
This is one of the most difficult classes there is. I hope you're up to the challenge.
