Title: Star and Earth Rating: G Pairing: Mamoru/Seiya
With Chibiusa in the past, King Endymion and Neo Queen Serenity began the long and arduous task of rebuilding their kingdom. The Aide they received- as well as the implied 'you owe us'- from other countries helped immensely. Things seemed to be going well, and Serenity was overjoyed to learn of the Starlights coming to visit and possibly help raise money with concert benefits. To her, there didn't seem to be anything to go wrong.
With a bright smile, she saw the foursome appear on the transporter with their luggage being carried in.
"I'm so glad you've made it here!" Serenity said, joining her husband and the others. "It must've been a long trip."
"It was." Queen Kakyuu told her with a smile, "However, it was worth while to have made it here. They greatly missed their friends."
"I'm sure you'll all feel very welcomed here." King Endymion smiled and gestured, "Please, make yourself at home."
Serenity only grinned, completely missing the look Seiya was giving them.
----
Over the next few days, Serenity began to notice how odd her friend Seiya was acting. A week- almost two- passed before she gathered up the courage to ask the other Starlights and their queen about Seiya's behavior.
"Is Seiya alright?" Serenity set her tea down, looking across at Kakyuu, "She seems really distracted. Is there something troubling her?"
"I wonder..?" Taiki muttered and shared a look with Yaten.
Serenity blinked, "Wonder what?"
Kakyuu nodded to the other two before answering, "If I may be frank with you, Neo Queen Serenity?"
"Of course." Serenity leaned forward, "Do you know what is wrong with Seiya?"
"Perhaps the resurgence of feelings that was once forgotten." Kakyuu answered, "You do know that Seiya had feelings for you, didn't you?"
"Uh-what?" Serenity blushed, "Well, not really. I just thought she was being a great friend."
Yaten frowned, "But you did know something."
Playing with her skirt Serenity nodded, "I did, but my heart belonged to Mam- King Endymion. I couldn't answer her feelings..."
"Well, regardless of it," Taiki looked at her, "Seiya's feelings might have come back. I think it's time you should answer her honestly."
"Would..it help?" Serenity worried her lip nervously.
"It might give closure." Kakyuu nodded slowly, "Please, for her sake?"
"Oh..very well."
----
She was going to do it. Tonight she was going to be honest with Seiya and tell her that there was nothing between them and that they should just be friends. With that in mind, Serenity sought out Seiya, only to find the woman staring longingly at something in the gardens.
Curious, Serenity wondered what it could be that had the raven haired woman's attention. She was half tempted to go over and ask her, when the sudden rustle of leaves caught her attention. In the dim moonlight, she saw a man, but couldn't see his face, only that Seiya's face lit up and went over to him.
Whatever was going on, Serenity smiled to herself, believing that maybe Seiya had fell in love with someone else?
If that was so, then it was such a relief to not have 'that' conversation with her.
"Heh, she's just in love." Serenity said to herself, turning to leave when she heard an achingly familiar voice. Her body frozen and her heart pounded. No.. No- it can't be!
Whirling back around, now with the clouds gone from the moonlight, she could see the man that Seiya had been so happy to meet.
Gasping, she covered her mouth and stepped back as she saw Endymion lean over and kiss Seiya just as sweetly as if it had been her. But the kiss, to Serenity, seemed so different watching it. There was a passion to it that she hadn't seen in years.
"Mhmm.." Seiya moaned, pressing her body against him," What took you so long?"
"You're really impatient, aren't you?" Endymion's hand slid down her back, "We need to be careful. People might notice."
"I don't care." Seiya smiled a bit mischievously, "Unless you want me to visit your office?"
"Not after Mercury almost walking in on us." Endymion reminded her but with a more teasing tone to it. " Serenity almost caught us in the library."
"I can't help myself." Seiya kissed him again, "After getting to know you..like this.."
Serenity couldn't watch any more. She turn and fled from the scene of the two lovers meeting in secret.
-----
"Endymion," Seiya sighed softly, their time together was almost up. The Starlights were only there for two months. Still, Seiya felt tone again- especially since her feelings were returned this time. She wanted to steal him away, yet knew she couldn't. "We're leaving today."
"I know." He held her hand for now, looking at her, "I promise, we'll visit you soon."
Without warning, Seiya pulled him down by his lapels and kissed the king senseless. "I'll be waiting." She smiled before slipping out of the room to join the other Starlights in their preparations to leave.
------
The confornation between Endymion and Serenity didn't occur until one day, a child appeared on the doorsteps of the Crystal Place. Dark Blue eyes and wild black hair, the girl had a curious look about her.
She ventured inside and when she found the Court, she smiled brightly looking up at Endymion saying, "Are you the king?"
"Yes I am, and you are?" Endymion was somewhat puzzled by this, yet the girl looked strangely familiar to him. Almost as if-
"I'm Seiru!" She said smiling brightly at him, "My mama said that my daddy was king and since you're the king that means you must be my daddy!"
"Seiru!" A voice called from beyond the door and StarFighter appeared, "I've been looking for you! I told you-!" She looked up at Endymion and Serenity and paled, "We have to go now."
"But Mama..." Seiru whined.
Endymion stared, wide-eyed, at the mother and daughter. That girl..was his daughter? His daughter with Seiya? Why didn't she ever tell him?
He glanced at Serenity, who looked as if she had swallowed something unpleasant, but tried to hide it.
"It's..fine." Serenity said tightly, "You can stay for the night, if you wish."
Endymion knew this would not end well.
---
Ironically enough, however, it actually did end well.
After two months of arguing and talking it over, both decided that divorce wouldn't work and that, in the end, they did still love each other, it was just a different kind of love now. Not to mention, they still had not only Chibiusa to think about but also the world.
Each swallowing their pride (Serenity moreso), they managed to mend their bond to a workable condition. Seiru was able to come and visit whenever she liked- and it turned out Chibiusa was delighted to have a little sister.
Peace and tranquility fell on Crystal Tokyo once more.
Title: How "Promise of the Rose" should've ended Rating: Pg Pairing: Fiore/Mamoru (one-sided)
"Please just-" But Fiore, in his rage, ripped the brooch from Sailor Moon's chest. She fell back, eyes vacant as he grinned over his victory. Looking up, he sees the other senshi were in tears- as well as his beloved Mamoru. It didn't matter, he'll soon have what he came for.
"Mamoru.." Fiore walked across the barren asteroid, ignoring everything around him. Propelling him forward was the single-minded thought of being with Mamoru. Having Mamoru to himself.
"You-!" Mars attacked him, but he simply reflected her power back onto the rest of them. He still had more energy than they did. The others tried, but their success was the same. Each fallen back onto the rock, injured and groaning in pain.
He reached out and grabbed Mamoru by the front of his shirt and grinned, "Finally, we'll be together."
"Fiore.." Mamoru could only look at the person that was once his childhood friend, "-how could you?"
"She was going to take you away from me, Mamoru." Fiore answered as a bubble surrounded them, "But don't worry. She's still alive as thanks for keeping you company for me." He pulled him close. "Now, we'll be together forever.."
"No!" Mars cried out, "Mamoru!"
"What do we do?" Jupiter looked away, "Without Sailor Moon-!"
"Damn it!" Venus slammed her fist into the ground, "If we don't stop this thing, all of earth will be destroyed!"
Mercury looked down at the crystal before picking it up and moving over to Usagi's limp body, "She's still alive!" She called to the others, "If we concentrate our energy, maybe-?"
"Alright, lets do this." Venus got up, "Venus Star Power!"
"Mars Star Power!"
"Mercury Star Power!"
"Jupiter Star Power!"
The energy flowed into the compact which rematerialized Usagi's senshi uniform bringing her back. "Wha-What's happened? Guys?"
"Oh thank gods, you're alive!" Mars hugged her, "We thought-!"
"Guys, we have to stop this thing first." Mercury reminded them, " If we combined our powers again, we could do this!"
"Wait- where's Mamoru?" Sailor Moon looked around for him frantically.
Jupiter shook her head, "Fiore has him."
"We have to-!"
"We have to save the earth first." Venus took a hold of Moon's shoulders. " We can save him after that."
Sniffing and pushing back her tears, Moon nodded. "O-Ok.." She wiped her eyes, "For Mamo-chan." She held her hands out, summoning the crystal. "We'll save his planet!"
---
Far above them, away from the asteroid, Fiore held Mamoru in his arms, watching with a small smile as the asteroid was covered in a pink light then disappeared. It didn't matter to him if Earth was saved or not. Or if they survived or not. He had what he wanted now.
"Fiore, please take me back! I have to know!" Mamoru pleaded with him, but his pleas fell on deaf ears.
Fiore smiled more, draining just a little of his love's energy. "Don't stress yourself. You're still weak from that wound." Fiore caressed Mamoru cheek and kissed it. "Now we'll be together...forever."
In the star scattered space, the clear bubble carrying the two of them far away from the Earth to wander forever in space.

title: The Price Rating: PG Pairings: Seiya/Usagi, Mamoru/Seiya
Seiya had known..
But she hadn't known anything at all!
She had known that the future held something for her Odango, but she hadn't really been able to see what it was clearly. She had known that the future was one that was destined for Chiba and Odango- and she hadn't cared.
She should have. She should have seen the warnings!
Before her, the thing she hadn't known about. The very thing that even the other Sol senshi had exclaimed bafflement and fear to. The Rise of the Black Moon Clan. Only...
"They're so much more powerful than before!" Neo Queen Serenity had gasped at the deep craters in the city. "Where are they coming from?"
It's all...
She could only stare up at the crystal spires that smoked and crumbled. Even with her transformation, she had been beaten and had lost it somewhere in this. Her body shook and quivered.
"Where's Mamoru?" Neo Queen Serenity had asked her team then. "Maybe.. with his help-?"
"We haven't been able to find him." Sailor Mars told her, "We don't know where he is."
Crystal Tokyo had fallen. Odango and the others.. Seiya's body trembled as a chocked sob escaped her mouth. Odango...
"Usagi- NO!"
Neo Queen Serenity had only smiled before following her friends into battle. Never to return again.
That's when she heard it, the sound of footsteps coming closer. Seiya turned, ready to fight, but was almost speechless at the sight.
"It's..It's you!"
She'd recognized Mamoru anywhere from the coveted pictures that her Odango hid from her. She threw herself at him, aiming a weakened punch to his face. "Where were you? We..- SHE needed you and you weren't there!" She couldn't stop the tears from falling anew, "Now- " Her voice cracked with a chocked sob, "Now it's all gone! Everything is gone!"
But the man seemed unmoved by her and only waited until she cried herself out.
"Well? What do you have to say for yourself?"
Mamoru- no, Prince Endymion in all his regaled form, offered his hand to Seiya. "If you want revenge for them, then come with me."
"Why should I?" Seiya's eyes narrowed, "What could you possibly do to help?"
"It's your choice, Seiya. Either stay here and wallow in your misery without any means to fight back, or come with me where you can be given an outlet for those emotions."
Seiya watched him for a long enough time before she closed her eyes and sighed. "Fine." She took his hand, "I'll go with you."
She should have known that destiny.. fate.. whatever it was- it didn't like to be messed with. It didn't like to be deceived. Seiya would later believe that this was the punishment from the gods for wantonly derailing what they had ordain.
But she just couldn't help herself...
Though now, months later, Seiya would find herself in a position that was all too familiar. She ran her hand along the golden crib and watched the mobile chime out a soft tune. She had done this before- wanted this before with Odango and she was certain that he had too.
Why does she keep doing this to herself?
Her belly was round and she ran her hand over it trying to keep calm the child inside who was moving so much. She sighed, annoyed with herself for this but at the same time, she found that this is preferable. After everything that had gone through together to earn this peace..
The price for a slice of happiness was too high. It would have been better for all if she hadn't persuaded Usagi to be with her instead. Then ...everyone would be alive still.
Her daughter was the most curious thing on this planet. Red hair, bright blue eyes- she was a thing of beauty to them. The most curious thing about her, though...
...was that she had a golden crescent moon on her forehead.
