I came to see
This world with my own eyes
A beauty to behold
Yet one you might consider passing by
The sun shined down
Onto the waters of pure blue
And there I met with her
And we made the perfect two
And the days passed by
Quicker than I could grasp
For what had felt like a year
Was much longer than she could last
Time and time again
I saw them all move on
To a new and brighter land
While I knew I never belonged
Fifty loves
And fifty lives
They were all
The greatest of wives
I decided to return home
But only after fifty years
I chose to never go back
To the land I knew I would never revere
