They weren't baskets anymore! His life was nothing but utter chaos now...
Jaxson now faced daily chasings, yelling, scolding, and mocking. He wasn't sure how much longer he could keep doing this.
The little tyke, Jace, wasn't so bad but he was a momma's boy. Jax swore that kid got him in more trouble with Lux than he thought possible. Riley wasn't much better, always laughing as he got yelled at, almost like she thought it was a cartoon or something. And Trixie? Don't even get him started. She was a chip off the old block....and not in a good way.
Plus, with these kids around he couldn't get any action! Lux would kill him if he even thought about other women and she wouldn't even touch alcohol, let alone drink enough to fool around. He was positively trapped.
And now that the little ones were older, they yelled when he tried to run off with them! He swore he was starting to develop a permanent slap mark on his cheek where Lux let loose everytime he tried to disappear.
Things were....hectic. But he supposed he had to deal with them. He rolled off the couch and started his daily routine of making breakfast for his family. Today's menu? Pancakes.

Lux had been sleeping in her room. A room she had yet to let Jaxson share with her. Though in all honesty that would be the more.. civil thing to do. They do have kids together after all. Yet he keeps being so.. aggravating with his disappearing kidnapping act. It grates her nerves! Yawning wide she stretches. The store window needs to be changed.... need to order more coffee for the coffeeshop. So much to do. Along with taking care of the kids. Sure Jaxson helps, but he also causes a bunch of problems.
Wrapping her kimono bathrobe around herself she walks outside. Glad that the kids aren't up yet.. If they are they are being quiet for now. Glancing at the clock she goes into the kitchen and see's Jaxson."Morning Jaxson." Moving to make coffee she looks at him and smiles fondly. She can't help it. She likes watching a guy cook. If things were different.. man how she wishes they were at times. If Jaxson wasn't scared of commitment to someone.. Shaking her head she chases those thoughts away.. What if's are not good to think about. They don't happen. She has to face reality here. Jaxson and her aren't gonna be like normal parents.They aren't a couple and probably won't ever be. No matter how much.. she might want to be.
Trixie struggles to make her way downstairs. Groggy from sleep she pads around searching for a parent. Always being a slow waker she usually ends up cuddling or leaning on a parent til she starts to fully wake. To the point where they tease that it is only in the mornings when she doesn't cause trouble. Eyes catch sight of her dad and mom as she enters the kitchen. Yawning she rubs her eyes and waddles over to her dad leaning into him closing her eyes and just snuggled into him. His scent comforting as she slowly starts to wake up.

Jace slowly trotted out of the bedroom, clinging first to his mother's side. She tried so hard to keep them all together, and he loved her for it. He let out a big, sleepy yawn and sat down, leaning against her shoulder. He gently sniffed the air, it was pancakes! Dad could be a meanie sometimes...but he sure did make a good breakfast!Jaxson jumped a little at the sound of Lux's voice, turning to greet her before getting distracted by her kimono. Damn, if only that woman didn't reject him all time. He really wished he could stay in her room sometimes....
He was going to say something about her morning bedhair, but was interrupted by Trixie, falling asleep again on his leg. He really didn't understand the kid. No matter how many times he yelled at her, scolded her, tried to kidnap her, she STILL came to him in the mornings. Truly daddy's little girl.Mornin' Lux. Morning, kiddo... he said, looking down at the tiny kit. He couldn't help but choke out a small smile as he scratched her head, messing up her hair even more. She had bedhead just as bad as her mom's. In a way, it was almost cute...

Lux smiles as Trixie comes up and leans against her dad. The sight is sure one to melt her heart. Even if he gets angry, or tries to take away the children.. No matter what he still is putting the work and effort into being a dad for their children. Smiling fondly at him she is about to move when she feels their son's familiar weight on her shoulder. " Hello my darling Jace. Morning Trixie." Nuzzling her son gently she beams with pride. Her children.. She never thought that she would someday be a mother. Yet it is proving to be the one thing that gives her the most joy. Motherhood suits her.
Humming a sweet tune she puts a cup of whatever poison Jaxson prefers in front of him. (didn't know if he liked coffee so put in whatever) Watching the interactions between father and daughter she gives a happy sigh. "Gosh I love watching you in the mornings with the children..." She doesn't go forward with her statement. Easily letting it drop off where she ended it with no explanation as she gets plates and silverware out. Taking the maple syrup out of the cupboard she contents herself to helping with breakfast. Feeling rather joyful today."How do you feel about us taking the children somewhere today? Like the zoo or perhaps a kids museum? Something to get out of the house?" After all she isn't needed at the store today. So why not have a litle family fun. Delight in acting as a real family even if it is for a day.
Yawning she looks up around as she sniffs the air. "Pancakes... yumm.." Warm and comfortable she feels her father ruffling her hair. Scrunching up her facial expression to one of annoyance her eyes look up at her father and she bats his hands away from her hair." Noo! Stop messing with my hair!" A yawn escapes from her mouth and she leans against him again."Morning daddy." Relaxed she is half awake now. Seeing her brother she stares at him for a moment." Mmmm Riley's the only one not awake I guess. Morning Jace." She turns her attention to her mother."Morning Mama! "
