Ventus is a land full of high hills and a few mountains on the boarder it shares with Terrae. House's are made on the mountain, not knowing the Terrae burrow underneath.

Toph stood quietly watching Lerista give this order. The mask covered his face. He had his hood up over his face. Even if the hood fell down, people wouldn't have been able to tell the identity. The mask covered his actual face. The hair was short and brown. That was all people could see should Toph lower his hood. Toph stood there silent. He turned his head towards Lerista.

Toph couldn't understand the reasons why his old friend would attack in such a way. He kept his masked eyes on Lerista. "Sir. I still don't understand your motive. When do you plan on telling me your story..?" His voice wasn't developed, so one could assume that he is young. He was also short, so there was no telling how old this boy was. He tilted his head, still looking at Lerista. One of the women in the village tried to run and get help. Before she tried to escape, she had sent a messenger hawk. It could be seen flying through the air. It had difficulties, however, due to the wind manipulators in the area. Someone was bound to notice soon. Winds do tell the people of Ventus everything. The smell of fire would be alarming. There's only so much wind manipulators can do to stall the event before someone in Ventus grew suspicious. A man may be seen floating down from the floating castle above. He was heading towards the Floating Columns. So far, it didn't seem like he saw anything. However, it is very much possible that someone inside the castle could see the attack should they look out the right window.

Lerista turned his head a bit to look at Toby with his eyes of blue flame. "Things changed when your father sent me to handle a situation on the kingdom of night. I saw how each system was and the faults in them...how each kingdom would betray the next over something simple." He raised his fist and as he did a hand of earth came out and gripped the running woman, squishing her to a pulp with a squeeze. "Fragile...that was the alliance that had been formed. But now I can create the perfect world." His hand glowed black and as the hand left the woman's body reformed and stood back up, now one of his minions. He looked at her a second and she turned to help in the fight against her own village.

Lerista allowed the contact on his face again. Though he could tell his head necromancer disapproved of it. He ignored him as he turned his attention to Toph. "No struggle, no strife, no anger only what is that which I allow them." He moved a bit forward and the soft sound of whispers around him was heard for a moment. "This world will kneel before their true king. And when that day comes the world will be at peace." Some of the soldiers came back, dragging bodies and tossing them into a pile.

Lerista didnt even bother with the lich as it was flung into the air. The necromancer used its wind power to halt its launch and looked at Toph in distaste. But he knew better then to question his lord. Lerista raised his sword and the whispers grew only a fraction as the bodies of the dead arose. "I will trust your judgement in this." He lowered his sword and started to walk. His army took the cue and started to follow. The newly arisen had no real warriors or champions so this lot was more zombie-like then anything else. All except one who seemed fully functional and grabbed a sword. Her eyes glowed like blue fire like those of Lerista's death knights. "On to the next village....another advantage of being undead...you never have to sleep."

Lerista actually smiled at the mocking gesture towards his servant. And the obvious look of distaste that the lich gave Toph. He looked over his army and took a breath, his breath misting as if it was cold. "My armada is very capable of handling themselves. And as for myself..." He looked back at her and shook his head. "Sometimes the best lesson is learned through blood and pain. They grow stronger as they fight those that they used to love. Not to mention when they face said loved ones it will make the enemy hesitate. Think of it, how would you feel if you had to fight your own father? The man who loved you for your whole life and took care of you?" His eyes glowed brightly as he turned to look over his armada as they finally packed up the bodies and moved on their way. "Pain like that would make even the strongest warrior hesitate." The army moved through the region, leaving nothing but the village as markers of their passing.
