A faint rumble of thunder echoed in the distance as Amelia reached the library, causing the brunette to glance over her shoulder towards the darkening sky. Normally she was fond of the rain, but it only served to dampen her mood as the door shut behind her.

"At least it's quiet." Nu'eth had a point, she supposed; the Averial usually did. Sometimes, though, her ability to give hope seemed redundant. As it was, the brunette was getting tired of the golden glow that always seemed to hover about, even when she couldn't spot Nu'eth herself. Thankfully, she hadn't run into anyone else who could see it, which meant she hadn't seen any Dreamers that Granny had mentioned in some time.

"Fine. I don't have to talk." The irritation in the specter's voice rattled in Amelia's head as she headed towards the section that held state information. Since all of the computers were occupied, she would have to find some way to bide her time until then.

"Sorry." Amelia wasn't sure if Nu'eth would want to hear her apology, but it was murmured nevertheless as she passed the reading tables.

A long, drawn out sigh came from the teenager, the crisp sound of turning pages coming from his fingers as he looked through the considerably large book in his hand. He was perched at once of the tables within the library, tired eyes carefully looking over the worn out pages and trying to take in as much information they could. He could feel an occasional twitch in the back of his mind whenever another round of thunder went off, a small smirk forming on his lips as it would happen.

"Scared of a little thunder hm, Gravrill~?" He mumbled, chuckling a bit in spite of the odd gazes that would rest on him from surrounding tables. His own was rather empty, probably due to his seemingly strange self dialogue. It didn't really bother him though, seeing as he knew well that he was talking to someone.

"It's not just that, mind you." A detached voice grumbled, a gaze seeming to shift around the room if it could. The avian spirit seemed to be on edge a considerable amount, almost causing his host to shiver as he did. "It's the warmth that disgusts me...don't you feel it, Abel?" But the boy merely shrugged, turning another page on his book about Oneirology as he hummed softly to himself, dream catcher safely nesting against the page opposite of the one he was reading.

"You know, this is quite fascinating...maybe one day you'll be able to read a book like this...or well, just generally hold something, hm?" He looked over his shoulder, his gaze seeming to be resting on the brunette that passed by however meant to be aimed toward the presence he always felt was behind him. "Great way to make yourself look more insane..."

Abel merely chuckled, looking back to his book. "Why, I appreciate the compliment~"

"And so my theory stands a fact..."

Amelia felt a rush of guilt when the young man at the table looked at her, immediately tracing her steps in her mind. She couldn't recall bumping into him on accident, but that wasn't saying much. These days, she was so distracted that she could have done a jig in an inflatable palace and realize what was happening. Perhaps her apology had simply been too loud?

She couldn't be certain she heard him correctly, but if she was right... A vivid blush colored Amelia's cheeks as her jaw clenched, walking past the table without a word or glance to the man who was talking to an invisible companion. Perhaps if she wasn't so overwhelmed, she would have noticed there was something unusual about the man, but add her own circumstances to the fact that he had just...what? Implied that she couldn't read?

Slipping between the rows of shelves, the brunette paused long enough to close her eyes and take a deep, slow breath. She was jumping to conclusions when there may not even be a situation, but it was difficult not to when she remembered how people would treat her once they found out she didn't have a home of her own. Once they did, there was distance and mockery and a whole slew of other ugliness that she was trying to keep out of her life.

"The good new is that you're not far from where you wanted to go.” When she opened her eyes, the Dreamer discovered Nu'eth was right and, letting her embarrassment sit on the back burner, continued to the books on legal and state matters. Unable to check them out and her pride still stung, she brought the books back to one of the emptier tables – the one with the young man talking to himself every so often.

As they neared Abel again, Nu'eth chuckled in the back of Amlia's mind. The brunette ignored her, slipping into her seat a few chairs down from Abel as she pulled the first of several books. There were some days, she had discovered, that Nu'eth's sense of humor went over her head. Now was probably one of those times.

Unfortunately for Amelia, Abel hadn't noticed how he had been accidentally rude to her. Instead, he had merely resumed reading his near novel's-worth of any information he would come to deem as being useful in understanding his Oneiro better. Then again, it wouldn't be that difficult to understand the avian man if he had actually paid enough attention. With all the whispered scrutiny and other rambling the other did on occasion well, it's not like he couldn't fit in a life story.

Well, that is if Gravrill actually understood his own circumstance to begin with.

Speaking of, it seemed that he was increasingly becoming more on edge with time, that sound of uneasy wings beating in the back of Abel's mind. And it did nothing to make the dreamer feel at ease. Oh no, show this kid a feather and he was running to the hills. "Mind letting up a bit?" He would say, not realizing that the lady he might've accidentally spoken to before was at his table now. Smooth. So much miscommunication here. "Not unless it goes away." The voice would huff, prompting Abel to shake his head as he pushed up his glasses. Well, it was worth a shot.

All the while, the shadowy presence within the crevices of the boy's mind would seem to rock a bit, unsure of the situation he was in. Who was there? It couldn't be the girl doing this, the warmth that hit him was definitely a force almost well, supernatural. It had no physical source, so perhaps... just maybe? "...Another?" It was the only conclusion he could come to. He spotted no heaters, and even if there were well...they shouldn't effect him in such a way that made him repulsed to be in this area. And this was far different than typical Gravrill repulsion. Just what was going on here???

"We should leave...I don't like it here...can't you sit somewhere else?" He would ask in a almost nervous and agitated manner, causing a skeptical look to arise on his dreamer's face. Like heck Abel was leaving now! "Once that print is in the seat there is no moving. That's when it just becomes really cozy!" An audible sound akin to facepalming was heard now.

"You've GOT to be joking..."

"Nope!"

Poor Gravrill. And poor witnesses, being Amelia and Nu'eth
