Alright you ********, listen up.
I'm your teacher, Professor Galan Runesteam. I'm going to be teaching you ******** for the next two years, teaching you everything I know about healing.
Oh, the frog? That's Vanni. Don't mind him.
Anyway, what exactly is the healing arts? Most texts state that it's something along the lines of using your own life force to sustain another person's. I call bullshit. Healers do use their life force to keep others alive, true, but that's for one spell. One. And I don't even teach it because it's too dangerous and difficult for high schoolers. Don't even attempt such a thing, or I'll make Vanni sit on your face.
There's a spell that uses your magic to keep your patient alive, but that's different.
So what do I teach? I'll be honest: contrary to popular belief, there are only a few spells out there that actually heal. Many of the spells I'll be teaching you will be utility spells that will replace a lot of those machines that mundane doctors use. The rest of the class will be first aid, CPR, that sort of thing. There's a very high possibility of doing a dissection in your last year just so you know which organs do what.
What? No, are you insane!? We're not dissecting frogs. Do you know how precious frogs are? Who the hell would ever DO such a thing? We'll probably be dissecting fairies or something, their anatomy is closest to most humanoids. Y'know, aside from the wing s**t and all that.
Anyway, here's the syllabus for the two most important years of your lives.
Third Years
Fourth Years
That being said, welcome to Healing, ********. I'm sure you'll be a... pleasure to have in class.
Just don't touch Vanni.
