Welcome to Charms. I am your teacher, Professor Caedah Pilon. You will be learning under me for the next four years.
Charms make up the majority of spells in the magick world. Contrary to popular belief, only a small percentage of spells are class-exclusive. Most of the unique spells you or I hear about were created by the individual using them. This is not the class to learn about creating your own spells. If you're interested in that, I'm sure Miss Kadakia will have plenty of time to talk about it when you are with her.
During the four years that you're here, the spells will progressively get more and more difficult to learn. This is why first years have twelve spells to learn, while fourth years have only four. I don't want to hear any complaints about how this is "unfair" and how you have "more work than the other years". If you are having difficulty mastering a certain charm, stop by my classroom after school hours and I'll help you.
There also will not be very much homework in this class, other than "practice this spell and show me next week". I'm sure those of you in classes with a lot of homework will be happy to hear about this.

Nox - puts out the light on your channeler.
Bump - bumps target.
Marks - trace fiery marks in the air. Color depends on person.
Cat's Eye - sharpens eyesight.
Levitation - makes target float. Also lowers density.
Second Semester
Break - breaks target.
Mend - mends target.
Lock - locks things.
Unlock - unlocks things.
Carve - carve a hole into a material.
Silence - mutes target. Best used on annoying fairies.
