Dear Professor,
My apologies on being vague as I am unsure of which professor will be reading this letter. This is to address the recent addition to my growing team! The cute pink egg with lighter pink rings that I received from your very lab not less than a week ago. While I would usually not write a check in so early unless the egg had given me cause for concern or an indicator that it was hatching, I find what happened just yesterday to cute not to inform you of. Packaged along with this brief letter is a video which is far better than trying to describe what happened since I was not actually around when it had occurred!

Pink? It becomes obvious as he moves back from the camera that fluffy's shirt was the source of all that pink. Angling it, the focus it is directed toward a warming station set up for the egg seemingly in a living room. All the necessities present for hatching an egg like bedding and a warming lamp. Placing his hand on his hips content with the set up he sighs and walks toward a door. When He opens it you can see enough from the cameras stationary angle that it is a bedroom at the base of the door is Asrai. Crouching down he gets Asrais attention as she tries to see whats in the other room. She wasn't sure what was there but she knew something was up. "Alright Asrai. We have a new buddy with us now. When I introduce you, you have to be really gentle okay?" Excited by the news Asrai lets out a squee of delight and fly's over Fluffy, reaching up having anticipated her excitement he catches her mid flight over his head. "Oh no you don't" He giggles, not really mad having expected this much excitement, this is the reason he had put her in the room until the egg was all set up. He didn't want to drop the egg in all that hyper excitment. "I'm serious, be really gentle okay?" Nodding she wiggles out of his hands and flies into the living room. Excitedly she hovers around the egg, she quickly hones in on it. While she hugs it Fluffy moves toward her. "Well I guess I was worried for nothing, you seem to be a natural." Petting her head he realizes everything will be just fine between them. Suddenly his Holo caster goes off and the same seemingly bored Scientist that gave him the egg is displayed on his screen. "There is a trouble area near your location where due to the harsh terrain people have been injuring themselves. We would like you to investigate the area and send a report back ASAP. Additionally make on site decisions as to where safety notifications would best be placed." Man, this guy sure was plain vanilla....
Turning to the egg sighing he looks at Asrai still hugging it. "Asrai, I need you to watch this egg until I get back. It wont take me more than an hour to get back okay? I'm trusting you to keep it safe from harm." Excited by his trust she smiles and nods. "Good!" Grabbing his pack Fluffy leaves the hotel room and locks the door behinds him.
For the first 15 minutes or so Asrai looks vigilant! No one was goona even look at her new egg!!! However when one as active as herself has to stay still for long she becomes bored, walking around the room (But still being sure not to leave it) She searches for something to entertain herself. Finding a little cabinet aside the couch she peers into the top drawer and smiles. There were many items in there to entertain children, or in this case, a bored Asrai! Bringing her now found toys by the egg she first picks up a children's book and make noises as if she were reading to the egg though she quickly grows tired of this. Then she grabs markers and with a naughty gleam in her eyes she turns to the egg drawing on the egg in many colors giggling, followed by drawing on her own face, this does occupy her for quite a bit longer. Having tuckered herself out from her arts and craft adventure she falls asleep next to the egg.
Re-entering the apartment Fluffy heads strait for the two, crouching down he looks at the adorable mess left over from their mini adventure. Stifling his laughter so as not to wake them he turns to the camera he walks over and turns it off.
