Dear Professor,
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to take care of another pokemon. As I plan on taking on the league challenge here I am happy to have more than one team member. I would also like to thank you for giving me fusions with a wide variety of typings. This may be beneficial while battling. Of course I am concerned about this as well. Both of my fusions have conflicting types. Will Abrielle’s dark half affect her psychic moves? Will Neriah feel pain from her fire half? I will be looking into this throughout my journey and while battling.

I should focus on the purpose of these reports and talk about Neriah. I have been taking care of her just like I did to Abrielle. She is fairly warm, but perhaps not as warm as Bri’s egg. I suppose that is one mystery solved. I’ve made a little nest of blankets in my window for her to sit in while in my room. I hope that the sunlight will help her grow since she has two types that benefit from the sun. I have been telling her stories as well, but I haven’t received much of a reaction from the egg. Most likely because she is not psychic and cannot interact with the world until she hatches. I really shouldn’t be surprised, but I guess Bri spoiled me.

Speaking of Abrielle she has been doing well. Ever since I brought Neriah home she has been very interested in the egg. I told her that this was our new family member and that once hatched the two can play together. I then had to explain that you have to be gentle with an egg because Bri tried to break open the egg right then and there with the blade on her head. After that she has been treating Neriah rather well. Sometimes I see her talking to the egg. I wonder what pokemon talk about and if she is just telling Neriah the stories I told her. Bri has been very helpful as well, holding Neriah with her telekinesis when my arms are full.

Sorry if my hand writing looks a little messy. I’ve been really tired lately. I guess taking care of pokemon fusions has been stressing me out a little. Once Neriah hatches I think everything should be alright. Also as soon as she hatches I plan on leaving Mato Town and starting my journey. I have to get started some time and there’s no time like the present. I’ve purchased enough supplies to last me a while and the journey doesn’t seem too difficult at the start. I will of course challenge the Mato Town gym leader before I leave. I almost forgot that he existed. Not that I’m trying to be rude, it’s just uncommon for the first town to have a gym leader. Anyways I will send another update once Neriah has hatched and I will keep you up to date on Abrielle’s status.
