The Murky Trout Pub is a small building just off the main square. Inside it's kind of dark if you're not underneath one of the lights in multicolored shades. There's the bar, and a few tables set up by the windows. The place is usually only full on the evenings. It smells nice, but if you don't have an ID, you can't get much other than soda and water.
If you're mundane anyway.
But you're a student of the Academy, so it's different. Flash your badge to any bartender wearing a pentacle pin, and you'll be given access to a different menu of all sorts of wizardly drinks. Help yourself to butterbeer, among other things. (It's not free, of course. Be ready to pay up.)
Just stay away from the Chateau Romani if you know what's good for you. Seriously.
