The camp he had discovered was in fact rather boring. There was no action here, there wasn't any battles going on or scouting that he had been allowed to join in. So he was sitting in camp looking as brooding as possible as well stoic. He had an image to uphold after all, and if word got back to his father that he had been in camp and hadn't actually been serious about what was going on it could prove troublesome when he got home.
So while he was here he played the stoic pretty boy who did as he was told. It ended up with him doing things he would much rather not do, like tending to the wounded or helping with setting up tents and traps. The traps at least were interesting but he felt that this was just a waste of time. How long were they going to stick around this place doing nothing but biding their time?
Still he was having a break, the sweat gathering on his brow was lessening with each passing day as he got use to the climate but it was still unbearably warm. When would something interesting happen?
