Welp, dunno why this was never posted. Guess I'll be the first to do so, and I really freaking hope it gets attention.
I love this anime like you would not believe

So, Blue Exorcist! Y'got street punk Rin Okumura living with his father, twin, and a crapload of priests in a run-down monastery. His brother is everything Rin isn't, literally. Star pupil, headed off to a high-class academy, not a troublemaker...human.

Yeah, didja know the place we live is called Assiah and there's this happy lil' parallel called Gehenna where all teh demons come from? Yeah, neither did Rin. Which is a bit of a doozy, considering he's actually the elder son and inheritor of the king of Gehenna and all his flaming glory.

A manipulative old fart named Satan.

And what does that make Rin? Why a half-demon of course, and guess who had no idea of his actual species for the first fifteen years of his life? Oh yes, you are so smart.

This anime is so many kinds of win. It's funny, it's got good action, you'll probably be in tears by the second episode...and it has a wonderful wonderful cast. I love everyone. From the hotheaded underdog to his self-serving snarky demon guardian...who's also the dean of his brand-spanking new school. Welcome to True Cross Academy, Rin, have fun following in your old man's footsteps and learning to be an exorcist! X'D
