a giant battle fortress made of grey stone.
great stone gargoles bar the front arched gate .
the sign overtop reads;
School of Magic
All Arts Polytechnical Academy.
You can hear explosions coming from somewhere within.

all rolls over twenty two mean the gargoles don't chew your bones...

Karn steps back inside, looking around slowly. The school isn't active at the moment; its doors are meant to be closed after dark.
He searches the shelves, starting to become frantic. "Where is it...? I can't leave it here...they can't get a hold of it, it isn't safe..."

she knows karn is searching for the book she has hiden in her packsack.. but she isn't giving it up. thre is weird humming that is coming from the book that somehow tells her she must hide with it and take it... to that place.
