Along the river, overlooking the waterfall that descends into the rest of the gardens below,
the new captain erected a much larger building that would serve as the squad's Mental Health
Hospital. The outside was done in traditional Japanese style, a nod of inspiration to the
captain's close relationship with the captain of squad four. Inside, however, is much more modern
and sleek.
Upon entering the ground floor, an information and sign-in desk lay in wait. Though there is not
always someone guarding this station, the captain does insist that every person to walk through
the doors is logged, visitor or not. After all, just beyond a set of heavy, but elegant, doors are the
patients, who may be in a delicate state. If something were to upset them, the captain and her
officers need to know who was there, what was said, and to punish the offender before they
could help their patient. Only after signing the book will the doors grant access to further inside.
The bulk of the ground floor is dedicated to open space where long term residents may rest and
relax. Recreational books, games, crafting supplies, and videos line the walls, and open windows cover
most of the rest of the space. To the left is the wing where food is made and medicine prepared. To
the right, the doctors' and treatment rooms. The second and third floors are comparatively smaller,
and contain rooms where the patients can sleep and be alone. Those on the third floor, however, are
kept under strict control as these are the patients that are not only a danger to others, but to
themselves. They are to be watched constantly.
