On her left wrist, the girl has jade prayer beads in the fashion of a bracelet.
xxxx • Personality : Karin is a kind, sweet girl with her head in the clouds and a smile on her face. An overachiever who seeks to please her superiors, she likes to keep busy being productive. When she addresses someone, she uses their surname as she was taught was to be respectful. Her clumsiness outside of battle causes her to trip over herself and cause a lot of accidents. To some she may come off as a ditz but Karin is actually a lot smarter than she acts. Like her mother, she dislikes violence but unlike her, she isn't against fighting and, if necessary, killing her opponent.

Orphaned Child
Karin was an infant when she died but she died with her mother so they remained together. When they arrived in the Soul Society, she was raised without knowing anything besides life there. However, as she got older, the woman who would raise her mistreated her and used her to get by in this life. She would play the distraction of a petty thief while her mother pilfered under their noses. Karin would be beaten up by the shopkeepers and she didn't gain much from scams, just enough to keep living. Her need for food was much higher than her mother's due to her immense energy that was left unchecked. It wasn't until her power eventually killed her mother that the child was free from the tyrant; however, she now had to fend for herself. Unfortunately, the young girl could only rely on what she knew but the scam would never work with just her. Also, her reiatsu had affected anyone who neared her, forcing her to retreat from people. Nearing the end of her life, a woman wearing black robes and a white haori had appeared before her.
True Love
Kasumi Shirohana, a shinigami captain, had appeared before the pink haired child as she lied on the ground starving. She happened to be in the area and felt the girl's intense power. From that point on, Karin was taken care of by the woman, being provided with money for food and clothes. The woman also taught her meditation to control her energy, allowing her to refrain from harming others. At first, Karin believed it was because she was a shinigami and was simply alleviating a threat to others. But as time passed, the more they spent time together, the fonder she became of her. Kasumi eventually had the young girl move into the high districts once she could control her reiatsu. The captain could spend more time with her this way and know that she was safe. But then, the woman whom she would call mother, had suddenly disappeared. When asked on her whereabouts, she was told Kasumi had abandoned her post and was no longer captain. Nothing else was disclosed to her and so, Karin spent the following years reading and studying to be a shinigami. Once she was old enough, she entered the academy and trained to the best of her abilities. Following the tough and rigorous training and education, the fresh shinigami joined Squad 13 with the high hopes of finding out what happened to her mother.

Guardian's Shield allows the user to block opponents incoming offensive spells such as a Hado spell or a Cero. The user creates a large shield of pure reiatsu to block the attack. They can either create the shield around themselves, or a near by ally. The shield is put out directly in front of the caster when they speak the words "Guardian's Shield!" it cannot defend against area of effect spells or block attacks made from the Zanpakuto. This includes any Zanpakuto technique, kido based or otherwise.
This Shield only works against offensive Kido spells, the most effected would be by that extension, Hado. However some Bakudo, primarily those which are non-touch ranged versions would be effected, for example the Bakudo Spell #16 "Metal Thread" would be, whilst something such as Bakudo Spell #8 "Strike" would not be.
While normal Cero is effected, any form of advanced Cero would be to powerful for the shield to block it out completely, thus it would only lessen the damage, not block it outright.
The shield is instantaneous, thus it could be used, and is meant to be used as, a reaction, and it will only last for the post it is cast in. It is summoned, it blocks a spell or cero, it breaks and vanishes.
Soldiers:
Squad Abilities can block up to level 30 kido/hollow spells, as well as same ranked cero blasts.
Soldiers can shield themselves, or one ally up to 10 feet away.
Can be used 2 times per battle - and a five post cool down between each use.

A massive stone and steel structure with labyrinth interior that leads to two separate towers or to a staircase that heads deep into the ground below. The building is situated over a large fissure from which mysterious green flecks of light spew. The sky is constantly night and full of shooting stars and giant floating object hovering over the observatory; an ancient and mystical telescope as it were. A misty blue fog obscures anything else beyond the architecture, aside from a few jagged mountains.

Seiza has the appearance of a young woman with wavy blue hair and crimson colored eyes. She wears a black and white leotard with a transparent pink skirt. Red jewels adorn the front of her outfit with cords attaching to her arm bracelets to the back. The wrist bracelets also have cords but aren't attached to anything.

A normal katana exceeding in length a little over 60 cm. The braid on the long handle is black and cerulean blue and has a black circular guard. The most outstanding feature on the blade is the bend in the blade just after the collar. To accommodate the sword, the black sheath with a violet wrap holds the same shape.

Seiza's first release takes the form of two pale blue chakram. These circular blades have fourteen spike protruding from them; seven on the top and seven on the bottom. These wheels are both 15in in diameter and have crossed handles in the center made of light. The handles disappear once they have been released. In addition to this, two bright blue and violet bracelets appear on Karin's wrists.
xxxx • Instant Effect : The blade bends into a circle, forming a ring on the hilt. As the handle fades away, the ring duplicates and gains its spikes.
xxxx • Passive Ability : As the chakrams leave Karin's hands, a strand of light from the bracelets will attach to the rings. This allows the rings to be manipulated in midair and also to be returned to the hand. These strands of light are as strong as metal and could be used as whips; however, they don't deal a lot of damage. These strands can also be used on other objects to bring them closer or pull Karin closer to it. Up to 25ft is the longest the strand can extend.

xxxx • Seiza: Kagayaki (Shine) - This technique cloaks the chakram in light, adding an outer layer to the ring. It increases its diameter to 36in and sharpens the blades by constantly rotating. Cooldown: Every other turn.
xxxx • Seiza: Hakai (Destruction) - Throwing the chakram at the the intended target, harmless streams of light will pour out of the top and bottom of the ring. On command, the ring blade will detonate into a large spherical explosion of colorful light energy that is capable of engulfing five men at once. However, using this technique causes the weapon to be destroyed. Cooldown: 4 posts
xxxx • Seiza: Saisei (Rebirth) - Forming a sphere of sparkling and colorful energy, it will transform into a chakram. However, these ring blades are only temporary and will shatter after use. Furthermore, they can't be used to perform any of the techniques and only two can be created at a time. Should Karin use this technique when any of her real wheels are destroyed, it will recreate a real one. Cooldown: 2 posts
xxxx • Hoshi no Arashi (Storm of Stars) - Aiming with the face of the wheel, a barrage of light bullets in the shape of stars are fired. The attack can be fired from both chakram simultaneously and can last for two post. This is the only attack in which Karin must be holding the rings for it to work. Cooldown: 6 posts (OFFICER ONLY)
