This one was a hard one to categorize, as it falls under both gaming, and animation, and movie. We felt it belongs to the gaming category.
Ultramarines: A Warhammer 40,000 Movie
A Sci-Fi/Animation film where a Squad of Ultramarines Space Marines answers a distress call from an Imperial Shrine World. A full company of Imperial Fists where stationed there, but no contact could be made. The squad of Ultramarines launches an investigation to find out what has happened there.
Screenplay written by Dan Abnett
Directed by Martyn Pick
Released in 2010.
The movie's animation is flawless and the voice actors have stared in a number of well known movies from Star wars to Hell boy lending to the film some very talented voicing. The Screenplay writer him self is a very talented warhammer 40,000 author, who has written many novels, the Gaunt's Ghosts novels being the greatest he has done, makes the screenplay well written and very much enjoyably. The movie has very view goofs/errors (Total number is 2) so it is very accurate to the lore of Warhammer 40,000
I would recommend this movie to any one who loves a good animated Sci-Fi flick.
