A place where a collaboration is planned and exchanged.
Any ideas for subject matter? I was thinking this would be a great opportunity to practice things we need to--realism for you and angles/perspective for me, and we'd be able to help each other out.

Hmm - I'm the wrong one to ask since I'm the one who always lacks inspiration crying How will this work anyway? Do we keep sending a file back and forth and working on it a bit at a time?

Do we keep sending a file back and forth and working on it a bit at a time? Hmm. Would you like me to sketch a couple concepts out and see which one tickles your fancy? Or you could, if you want to. Oooor we could both list some things we like to draw/paint and things we need to practice on, and find the common denominators between the both of us.
I was thinking exactly that. I was thinking if we work in layers we could make a new layer (or group) each time we get it back from the other so we can see what the other person did and add to it without drawing over it. >.O I think this makes sense, but I've been having a hard time with my words lately.

I was actually thinking the other day that we should use that random scene / character generator in one of the draw-a-day links and kinda force us both out of our comfort zone XD I have a feeling passing it back and forth with layers is gonna get VERY big and messy. How comfortable are you with working on one layer? I ask because I thought once we get the file, we'll flatten it and then make a new layer above to make the changes and keep flattening as we go and basically building it all up. I like drawing... girls XD They are the easiest for me. Mainly fantasy or modern settings would work and I love drawing clothes too. Since I need to work on posing I'd be happy to go for a sort of action, looking over the shoulder while running scene maybe? That can work on both our perspective and getting that 'captured moment' feel you wanna work on too?

I hadn't even looked at those links since I know I get burned out on art if I sketch every day. Before I forget: you should check out the seventh sanctum character generators. If it's no problem, I'd prefer it if you chose from a generator. I tend to pick through them 'till I find one I like, which defeats the purpose.
I'm fine working on one layer, though I usually leave a second one for my color palette.
Haha I like drawing girls too. So, your suggestions rock =D

Awesome - I'll try and pick something later tonight when I come back from a dinner and sort some stuff out. This should be interesting once we get started and figure out a working method for putting this together ^_^ (also, adding that character generator link to the Draw A Day activity thread. You're an amazing link generator for me, lawl)

Haha If you'd rather me post them in one specific place, let me know and I can do that. I have years of useful content that I randomly will remember.

If you have links you'd like to share, just post them in the relevant threads and I'll copy them into the main opening post for easy access. So tutes would go into the relevant resources thread and things like character generators can go into the Activities Daily Inspiration thread etc. I'll get onto that character generator now XD

Okay here is our character, courtesy of the Seventh Sanctum General Person Generator! Quote: This sneaky lady has wide red eyes. Her thick, wavy, chalk-white hair is worn in a style that reminds you of a sea urchin. She has a narrow build. Her skin is dark. She has small feet. Her wardrobe is practical, and is mostly red and yellow. Now the first kinda scene that comes to mind based on the very first sentence is of her at the entry of a dark alley, pressed up against the wall in a sorta classic 'You don't see me' pose as she is trying to evade the notice of some passing local police force who are looking for her. This kinda lets us play with lighting as she'll be in the dark but the main 'street' before her is well lit.
