Since I see so many people stating that humans are meant to eat meat, I have developed this sticky to prove all of them wrong. Please read the whole thing and then try to tell me humans are meant to eat meat.

It’s amazing how many seemingly intelligent people, to justify their meat-eating, open their mouths, point at their teeth, and say something about “canines” as a means of defending a habit that is ecologically devastating, cruel to animals, and likely to kill them. Leaving aside how different human “canines” are from the canine teeth of carnivores (I really wonder if these people have ever even looked at the long, dagger-like canines of a dog or tiger), every natural carnivore has an array of other physiological properties that do not mirror ours.

For example, unlike humans, all natural meat-eaters, such as dogs and rats, manufacture their own vitamin C, whereas we need to consume vitamin C in fruits and vegetables; true carnivores perspire through their tongues rather than through their skin; natural meat-eaters have sharp, pointy front teeth, sharp and jagged molars, and a tooth-bone density many times greater than that of humans, which enables them to crunch through the bones of their prey; carnivores have no digestive enzymes in their saliva at all, and their digestive acids are many times more acidic than those of humans, so the bacteria from rotting flesh won’t kill them; natural meat-eaters have jaws that move only vertically, instead of in a grinding motion as ours do, and they don’t chew their food—they just rip and swallow; carnivores have claws to rip their prey apart instead of sensitive fingers for plucking; they have an intestinal tract only three times their body length to eject rotting flesh quickly; and natural meat-eaters never develop atherosclerosis, no matter how much saturated fat and cholesterol they consume—this is the disease that kills almost as many human beings in the industrialized world as all other causes of death combined.

And the list of physiological differences between people and natural meat-eaters goes on and on.

When i see roadkill on the side of the road, first, my sarcastic self coes to mind, then, i realize what has actually happened and I feel really bad.

Every so often, i will see a dead animal not that far from the road. People will hit the animal and just leave it, they don't even look for the owners. Just because the animal is dead, doesn't mean it doesn't deserve to be treated right.

I'm so grossed out by the thought of road kill it isn't even funny, everytime I see an animal in pain I feel terrible. No wonder I don't eat meat. 3nodding

Did you know that they feed healthier food to inmates and some schools in order to help their behavior? And according to the movie "supersize me", it works, apparently. When he ate at McDonalds every day, he was subject to mood swings and was feeling bad and irritable a lot.

I hate seeing roadkill.... when someone hits something maybe they should pick it up and even place it off the side of the road. I always remember when my kitten Zelda was hit no one picked her up they left her there for hours... i was not there. But finally my neighbor picked her up and put her in a plastic bag... i had to bury her... its stupid that people can be that rude.. and she was a calico cat not a black cat.. ppl could see her on the road.. it ticks me off when i see a pet on the road ... i always try to find the owner and tell them their pet died.

I'm very sorry. My dog Elvis ran away one day (he wasn't the brightest of all dogs but I loved him.) and like a week later, I found out he was hit by a truck. And no one had told me right when it happened. I cried for days. Mostly because Elvis was gone, but some because I felt violated that no one had told me. I never saw him either. I remember dreaming that it wasn't really Elvis, but some other dog and Elvis came home. No such thing. I don't even think he got burried in my yeard, but my dad put a head stone up.

I'm crying as I type this. Brings up memories you know?
