Got some program specific tips and tricks you'd like to share?

Just to be clear - if you have any links you'd like to add to this resource thread, by all means post in here with the link and I'll edit it into this opening post under the relevant sub-heading or I'll make a new one if needed.

This is all about us sharing tutorials we've found helpful or even tutorials that we have personally made to help other members of this guild.

All the tutorials You've added about separating lines from background are not letting us use lineart fully, like seeing it's transparency on normal mode or coloring it. Instead, I suggest selecting it on channels of grayscale file, filling black and then turn it back to rgb/cmyk. works perfect for me! it preserves transparency etc.

I don't have any tutorials saved for that technique so I'll have to look them up and add some to that section.

If you have some then feel free to link them and I'll include them in the OP. This isn't just about me finding all the tutorials, its about everyone in the guild sharing what resources they have come across so we can help each other.

I could make it myself as I don't remember seeing it anywhere on the internet.
unfortunately I have no cam so it would be picture tutorial. Hope it's fine ^ ^'
So, whenever we find something useful, do we just post it in the thread? I have tons to share emotion_c8

If you have any resources to share, just post the links in the relevant threads and I'll include them to the opening post for easy reference.

Users are more than welcome to create tutorials as well biggrin

I know I've seen some tutes around with the whole using channels to erase the white areas outside the line art so you can then lock transparency and colour the lines if needed, I'll just have to try and dig them up. I don't have them saved because I no longer scan line art in XD

I've edited the opening post to make it more clear that people can post links as well. I'll change that for the other threads too.
