Well, really, who are you and what do you want?

Say only what you feel comfortable sharing with others and I trust people here have the decency to not use any information provided in a derogatory/harmful manner.

Things your intro could include:
How long you've been drawing for?
What would you call your style?
What mediums do you use?
Anything you know you need to work on?
Are you working towards anything in particular?

---

Me, I'm HitokiriChibi. Call me Hitokiri, Chibi, Chibs. Whichever is easiest for you.

I've been drawing for 16 years and only now decided I want to try and earn some money through commissions. I've drawn a lot for a particular RP forum I frequent since everyone wanted their characters drawn but I've come back to Gaia to get drawing some more complicated avatars or OCs for practice.

I know I have a lot to improve on still - poses, hands, feet, lighting, colour theory... I'm also trying to expand my style from default anime to something close the being semi-realistic.

I look forward to learning with everyone here and seeing some great art!

As Your Captain...
I am happy for anyone to get in touch with me personally for any reason - even if it isn't to do with the guild!
Please don't hesitate to quote me if you need to get my attention - I'm always happy to try and offer advice or critiques but if you need my urgent attention that will probably be the best way to go about it - or PMing me asking me to take a look.
If you have any issues or don't feel like airing a suggestion openly, again, you are welcome to PM me.
I'm here to try and make this guild work for us all!

Howdy, I'm Rockabuddy, call me Mark.
I've been drawing since 6th grade and got started on anime (don't do that).
I would not call my style by a name, but my major influences are Janet Fish, JC Leyendecker, and echoes of the anime style that I learned on.
I usually am a digital artist. I like using pencil, acrylic paint, and oil pastel.
I was once very talented and need to get back into practice! I was a fast artist who was very good at creating likenesses of real people. I used to be an artist as my sole profession. I need to get back to that!

Hello, my name would be Martyrius, but you all can call me Marty.
I have been drawing since I was 15, that makes it 6 years now.
it is very anime and manga influenced.
I work solely digitally in every step of my process.
I'd really like to get to work on my posing,coloring, and to bring forth emotion/facial expressions to my art and push it in a more comic style direction.

Hey guys! I've been drawing for ten years, using a tablet for the past eight of those ten. I started out with anime, but have slowly worked towards semi-realism if not realism. I'd really like to get to the point where I could make a living selling art, but I've got to learn more before I can do that. Mostly I paint portraits, so I struggle with creating interesting pieces when its more than just a bust piece.

I love to talk art and help people, so that's a big part of why I'm here, but I also like to the hear what people think about my work--specifically how I can improve, or what parts I'm weak in.

Hello there!
I've been following my art passion since i was about 6 years, so I guess that would mean I've been doing it for about 20 years! Wow, that's a really long time. I began with drawing horses as my first subjects and then into people.
I would say my style is semi-realist to realist depending on the subject and how in depth I want to get into it.
I've done just about every medium out there, clay, oils, acrylics, water color, and even metal!
I went to college for video game design and animation, got to the final class in the degree and came to the realization that games weren't for me. So now the plan is to switch to graphic design in the future.
One of my favorite subjects to focus on is textiles and costume design as well as the character design.
I am very willing and able to give out as much help or critique is needed or wanted.And to accept the same.

Yo! Feel free to call me whatever. Thought this was a cool idea, so I figured I'd join and see how it goes.

I've been drawing and the like for a long time and went to an art magnet high school (experience with a lot of things, but more focused on illustration & photography). I work mainly digital now but have spent more years with traditional. Much to improve upon, but I really just need to make myself start drawing more often. Most interested in giving crits & advice~

Hello everyone,
I'm quick_star_blossom, you may call me anything that suites your fancy, such as Star, QSB, Quick and ect!
Just don't call me Blossom. I get an iffy feel if you do and only a handful of people get away with calling me that!

I been drawing off and on for 10 years (I think o.o; ) but honestly the time I actually had time to draw in those
10 years would equal to about 3 years. My style is messy and unbalance, I'm constantly switching the way I draw!

I work with pencils, charcoal, pastel, watercolors, oil and acrylic paint. I also do crafty stuff such as jewelry
making, sewing and clay figuring. FYI just because I work with everything doesn't mean I'm good with them.

I'm a bookworm and I have a big collection of books in my small but beautiful private library. I consider myself
a pretty good cook and I love baking! I'm a college student and I don't have a job. WOOT! OTL I need a job.

My goal here is to improve my consistency in styles. Also to finally learn how to draw facial expression
and eyes. OMG EYES, y u so hard! UMMM too much info? WHOOPS. LMAO
:Awesome:

Hello! I'm Azuu Hime but please just call me Azuu! ;w;
I've been drawing since I was in the 5th grade so... Almost 9 years. I stopped drawing for about 2 years within that time because of personal reasons and I had to stop for a few months last year because of carpal tunnel. I don't think I'm as skilled as I should be by now because of those reasons. :s

My style is... Anime, to be blunt. Though I am trying to develop my own style ;w;

I'm mostly a digital artist but I do enjoy using traditional mediums. (Pencil, copics, water colour, acrylic...)

I'm currently trying to work on anatomy, colour theory, and gesture drawing. (Fancy poses are difficult lmao.)

Sooo... Yeah ;w;

Heeyo, I'm Surnrner~
I've been drawing for as long as I can remember, but I started getting serious about 2 months ago.
I don't call my style anything xD
Though it is inspired by manga/anime.
I need to work on shading!!!
Also, hands, feet, dynamic poses and sitting poses.
I like to dream about becoming an amazing artist, but that's that. I don't think art will have a big influence on my future /:
I like drawing traditional, but seeing as people like digital more, I taught myself digital arts using mouse x.x
It's tiring though, and takes so long.
My biggest wish right now is probably to get a tablet or visit a friend in New York.

Hello everyone, I'm Angel!
I've been drawing ever since I could hold a pencil, which was when I was two. So 22 years.
I wouldn't call my style anything, but it is definitely anime/manga inspired.
I'll draw on anything really. I use a tablet alot now, but I've dabbled in everything from pastels and painting, to pencil sketches and watercolor.
I need to work on males. Ugh, I'm terrible at drawing them. As well as work on poses and such.
I ultimately would love to have an art table at a convention and get real money for my art. *is a poor college student*

Hey I'm Slayernice, but you can call me Slayer or Slay. I've been drawing a little this year during my freshman year but started practicing more since the strt of the summer. I think the style I'm pracicing would be anime, maybe sweatdrop I'm working traditionally since I don't have a ablet nor I am ready to work on it, not yet. The body, mostly the legs, feet, arms & hands @-@ but that's why I joined the guild! One day, I want to be so good that my art will be used for a game >/////<

Hai! I'm the crazy person with many names. all of you can call me that guy, or just copy whatever it is that the other crazies call me. Anyways...

I'm not a good artist, doubt i ever will be XD
i've been drawing off and on for probably about 12 or so years now.
I draw whatever comes to mind, even if it's generally a horrible rendition of whatever was in my head.
and so on so forth. oh and i'm 19-20, male, and I also do siggy/banner art (also not good at that)
PostPosted: Sat Aug 02, 2014 6:32 am

hi! it all started when i stumbled upon crayons at the age of 3-4 rofl ... then bam i get put into some "art" primary school. (yes, i'm going to write my life story regarding art here because i never get the chance okay)
so basically i was the melancholic dweeb that drew all the time, well, most of the kids in that school weren't into art even the slightest and no wonder, really. the art lessons were horrible, like imagine letting lil' kids draw some whatever stuff, so they're feeling comfortable, yeah? BUT. but. let a select few re-do 99% of their little kid drawings and never be pleased, right? DEMOTIVATE THEM ALL YOU CAN AND MAKE THEM HATE YOU AS A TEACHER, AND, AS A PERSON. then, enjoy watching them suffer from extreme hesitance for the next 6 years.
/ wrists
so i self-learned and practiced and later on chose a somewhat arty high school, and it was actually quite tolerable, but then i quit it. so now i'm enjoying my studies at a night school or whatever it's called in English.

i've been drawing for some time, started with digital art in '08. i suppose the way i draw right now is a bit anime-influenced, since i've always enjoyed reading manga and watching anime blah blah blah. my "style" has also been compared to a plastic bag.
(during my school art practice a teacher described one of my paintings: "it feels just like a plastic bag emerging from the canvas, just look at it -looks at other teacher- -everybody agrees-" the picture was of some random forest trail)

MEDIUMS. mainly digital now, but i enjoy the marker/felt pen + regular pen combo.
i usually draw traditionally somewhere outside with my friend, so all i'm bothered to take with me are pens and markers. <.<
need and want to work on A LOT. poses-perspectives, anatomy overall, colour theory etc i want to know how to do stuff, how light and colours work and and stuff

i am currently working towards getting more comfortable at drawing figures... ;' ;

i'm sorry this came out so long, i raged a little ;_;

Well hi there. I'm kabat emotion_yatta I'm drawing for years now but I'm slow and lazy. I guess that's why I improve that little.
I'm drawing in manga style.
I mostly use my tablet now. I used to work with pencils, markers and watercolor/acrylic hybrid technique. I'm still having those rare attempts with traditional media but not uploading them anymore.
I surely have to work on my anatomy skills (male in particular), lighting and brush texture. Oh, and backgrounds. That's my worst nightmare emotion_8c
Recently I've been doing few gaia commissions but I'd love to improve enough to start doing RLC commisions which is one of my big dreams emotion_kirakira
