Hello! I'm looking for a new manga to read, any recommendations?

Recently I've read: 20th Century Boys, Beck, Pluto, and Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles

I'm open to whatever though smile

Amatsuki was pretty good in my opinion. I really liked the art too

Summary from Mangafox
"History isn't Tokidoki's strong subject. He's even forced to do make-up work at a high-tech history museum to bring up his failing grades. After losing an eye to a virtual reality monster in an Edo-period simulation, he finds himself unable to leave the game. Could it be real?"

It's not really like SA though even though it seems like it from the summary.

I haven't read any of those but i will give them a try. I have noticed that in those manga's you named the main character is always trying to push their bounderies and trying to grow. So here are my reccomendations:

-Angel Densetsu

The story is of Kitano Seiichirou, a very kind and pure-hearted young man, with a horrifying, monstrous face. People being what they are, they think he's a terrifying delinquent, and there are plenty of chance misunderstandings (coupled with Kitano's convenient inability to understand what's happening around him) that propel him into the position of "school guardian", a.k.a. head thug on campus.

It's completed and it's just amazing how the situation can change when somebody refuses/is unable to be or somebody else.

-Killer stall

Original Webcomic Choo,a middle-aged restaurant owner, is being ripped off by a couple of no good teenagers! They might think he’s a nobody, but here is a past to him that nobody knows. And nobody should know. Is he just a peaceful shopkeep, or is he something more than that?

It's completed and to me the story was amazing because it shows that people can really change if they want it.

-Togari
In Hell, Tobe has been tortured for 300 years now, and his spirit to be free doesn't show any signs of fading. So Tobe is given a final chance to make up for all his sins he committed while alive on Earth, he must use the legendary sword Togari to defeat and destroy a 108 Sins in 108 days. Now Tobe is sent to modern day Japan, where things aren't exactly like he remembered, and defeat the 108 Sins in time, so he can be free again.

It is completed and it's a bit mature but i don't think it's all that bad.

I read the first few chapters and it's not too bad! It almost reminds me of Inuyasha in a way. The art style's not too bad, but there's something about the faces that throws me off. Will keep reading on though, seems interesting so far.

Hey, thanks for all the recommendations! Looks like you did some research, haha.

Yeah, I remember reading Angel Densetsu before, and I thought it was pretty hilarious at times. I do remember the one chapter when a thief breaks into Kitano's house freaking me out a bit though.

I read a bit of Killer Stall, and if I'm not mistaken it's a Korean manga right? I can't say I dig the style too much, so I'll give it a pass for now but I might try it out again later.

I've only read a few pages of Togari but I will give it a try, the premise seems interesting to me, but it does seem like the type to get kind of repetitive, with 108 sins to defeat and all.

Thanks again for your recommendations!
