So I've been running around town for over two hours trying to track down my dogs, which broke down the fence to my back yard while I wasn't paying attention. I asked around a lot, and like seven people told me where they had seen them last, but you'd be ******** surprised by how far a dog can run in the time it takes me to sprint three goddamn blocks. So, I finally see them at the end of the block across the street from my house (though people reported seeing them clear on the other side of town) on my way home to take a piss and take a water break and as I'm bringing them to my front door, a policeman stops to have a nice little chat with me. Apparently one of my dogs (the one that I'monna have to get rid of so this s**t doesn't happen again) attacked two people and two dogs, though I'm sure it was far more than that.

Bright side: I got my cardio done for the day. lol

What a lovely situation. What breed of dogs are they? I really hope there's not a backlash due to that, with how demonized some breeds are. I always find such demonizing absolutely disgusting...

It sucks you have to get rid of one of them. What are you going to do with it?

I got a shepherd/hound mix and a yellow lab. The lab is the male, and as such is the instigator of stuff like this whenever it happens.
Believe it or not, one of the dogs attacked was a pit bull (assuming that was one of the breeds you were politely alluding to.) I totally agree, though, with the harsh judgment people have towards certain breeds being completely unreasonable.
I don't have to get rid of the yellow lab, but he does s**t like this all the time, and this is just the excuse I've been looking for. He belongs in a home with fields he can run around in, so I'monna try and set a friend or family-friend up with him.

To be honest some of the breeds have their reputation for a reason, though it has nothing to do with their origins. It's just that certain breeds are chosen specifically to be trained as attack dogs. The concept itself is ridiculous though because it's the dog's upbringing, not the breed.
