Here's a fairly recent set of experiences from work that I've decided to share with you all.

Here's a little back story. There used to be a water park on the land that my current place of work is. As it was a water park, unfortunately there were drownings. Oddly enough, it seemed to happen about every three years. Eventually, the water park was demolished and my workplace was built sometime later.

I've recently acquired a position there where I end up at work by myself. I already knew something was going on there, as I'm quite sensitive to such, but I didn't realize it was quite to the level it was.

I have heard footsteps in several places within the building. It doesn't sound like they're wearing shoes. Also, I have heard a very unnerving gurgling/choking sound. I have verified that I am not the only one to have heard these things. However, the other night, I heard someone whisper hello into my ear. I've seen and heard some crazy things in my life, but never that clear or close. Things were fairly active that evening, as I could hear activity through a closed door that blocks a lot of sound normally.

Sorry for how long it's been! Life goes crazy sometimes (still is but trying to get to a manageable point again!).

While I am no longer at that place of business (left in February of this year), I can confirm other people had similar experiences, though I'm the only one that's heard the hello. It usually happened when people were alone. I also had reports several times over of footsteps being heard across the top of the false ceiling (there's essentially an enclosed set of rooms within the building). It was definitely unnerving being in those rooms by one's self. We went for the better part of a year with it being semi quiet. I'd have to check with friends that still work there to see if anything has happened recently.
