Well, of course; it's an RP. We already have two of those. No need for an explanation there. But as I said, in the General Idea thread, it may take place out of Kruun. ..May. That's mostly what this thread's about.
Inside Kruun it would be in the ancient 1E, in the newly born world after the Mythic War. On a planet most people know, but few know the history of. Hion. Home to some of the greatest mages ever seen. But in Hion'd beginnings many still clung to the ancient ways, rejecting the Tri-Un. They stuck to other gods. Though what gods they stuck to divided the planet into several tribes. However the planet was faced with a threat. It That Consumes.
OR
New planet, new race, new religions; we aren't in Kruun anymore. But the structure is still the same.
Please say whichever would be better, you think.

I'd go and say out-of-kruun might be fun. We've always played in and drew mostly from there. Giving another realm(s) a go could be worthwhile.

Alright, then, I'll try to go with that. I'll start setting it up, once I got the basics down. It'd probably work a little bit better, anyways. Some of the concepts I have in mind would be a little hard to fit into Kruun's structure.
Seeing as how Humans, and Hionians were created by Dai Ra, hopefully people are willing to be non-human-like races. (still humanoid, though. It'd be hard for people to role play, otherwise) Well.. I should probably try to recruit, too..

Sounds alright. ...And probably. Just three people means that it's difficult when just one person leaves.
On a totally separate note: As I recall, we were pretty much assigned the role of world-builders in (U/C) as well. Well, that kind of means that we need a basic plot beyond what we've done. Who's fighting who, and what not.Who's cooperating with/doing the bidding of the Sins/Graces.

A few more people would be nice, for that reason. Less of a big deal when someone leaves. Unfortunately I have no idea how to recruit..
Hm.. All right. So we need backstory, basically?

Well, you might post something in the main forums, I would suppose. That appears to be the main way to do so on Gaia.
I guess so? I think we were brought on for long-range planning ability, as Chaos didn't think that one through.

Would you know which forum, mayhaps?
'K. Well, I'm glad to help whenever I need to. Haven't looked at the guild at all, though.. Anything specific?

Likely the Gaia Guilds Network or the GD forum. Beyond that, I don't know much.
Well, we've already got a basic plotline: The world's ending, Sins wanna stop it, Graces want it to happen, yadda yadda. We figured they'd probably work for the Sins for a while, until they actually heard the full story. The players can choose from there who to help. Sins win: the universe survives, but everything sours, becomes corrupt. Graces win: the universe dies, but it is reborn better. It gets a second chance. Should they choose to help the Graces, they are to protect the final boss. Sins will attack.
For now, we've got a few characters up and approved. Still trying to think of an outline for the journey on the whole. How would they be helping either (or neither) faction? What would the smaller goals be? To meet with each Sin/Grace and secure their help? To rally the nations? Or to sow destruction everywhere?

I guess I'll look..
I think rather they should choose, from the beginning. I'm sure a lot of people wouldn't trust the Sins, even if they seemed good. Hm.. Okay, I'll think of some of the answers, from what we've talked about, so far. Just kinda need the plotline, really?

That's the point. They do choose from the beginning. The thing is: they can always choose differently. Anytime. That's how free will works. And let's face it: neither side's really playing straight until the end. The Graces will hold back information in order to prevent folks reneging on their commitments, and the Sins will outright lie. That, and plot twists are always fun.
Yes. Might be best to start with a set of basic goals.

Well, yeah, but you made it sound like at first they're forced to a side. ..Okay, will start thinking.

From a certain method of thinking, yes. They are forced to make a choice. There are several options, including the decision to make no choice at all. Nobody's ever really given all the information until they've chosen. The Graces and Sins are used to manipulating people in one method or another, after all. ...But where's the fun in choosing not to participate?
(o: Right. Just thought I might bring it up.

Alright, I get it now. They're forced to a side, but not a specific one.

Yes. It's not so much about the side chosen as the outcome desired. ...Well, that and the paths taken to reach that outcome. The ending, I figure, is where all the cards are laid on the table, face-up. The final choice, and possibly the only fair one.

So we want one ending? Or are we planning both?
