Simple yes, it has become an controlled circle. It think the proper terms used are inflation and deflation. The fact that there is so much money pumped into economy causes the price of items to skyrocket. I am not entirely sure how they pump so much money into the economy but i know it happens. Eventually the prices rise so much that even the most rich people think for a moment to buy an item then they decide to get rid the amount of money in gaia itself by holding an donation event. So if you know when to ride these waves you can become quite wealthy in gaia.If i am wrong please let me know <3 Toodlepip~

I think that Gaia began to give more money to newbies (like 5000000 for every referral!!!!!) so the veterans started the prices.
I also think that Gaia should raise the price for shop items and improve the awards system cuz voting is encouraging anymore.

it cuz all this gold bags and crap!!1 gaia is poor and wants the ppl of gaia too buy g-cash cards
more money 4 them but even if with all these re-color crap only god knows wtf they doing or thinking

When gaia started the gold rigs it caused lil harm ,but when they started having 4 different types of gold rigs to the shop it caused most of the items to skyrocket and the value of gold wither.

I can't say for sure if it is failing or not. Items are far more expensive now then they ever use to be. I've stopped buying items due to how much they cost.
